I looked up an eico lamp chart and with a quick glance

44 .25 A
47+ 1847 .15A. And both elements the same but lifetime is rated a tad higher. ??

If same price 1847 should last a little longer.
As far a being dimmer I don't think that chart had a lumen output column.

Definately have them in place of 44. Unless you want inserts to cup and plastics to warp.

Sorry can't agree with ya.
20+ year old connectors and such. 10 bulbs is 2.5 amps or almost 17 for the 47 with same current.
backglass inks obviously don't enjoy the heat and thermal changes so why push it.

I often start playing a game get a call or get distracted and after forgetting I was even playing come back a day or so later and oh it's still on.

I guess some guys like it bright and lockbar nice and warm.
