Hi,
After resolving the issue of having no voltage at Test Point 1 the game works, so I'm playing longer test games and also left it switched on for an hour to see if it is stable.
After an hour I wanted to take off the backglass to inspect the head and noticed the backglass is warm at and around Player 1, but the rest of the BG is at room termperature. Is that normal, or is the score display for Player 1 giving off too much heat?
Then I looked inside. The heat sink on the rectifier board was really hot. I couldn't hold my hand on it even after the game had been switched off for a minute. I also noticed the voltage at Test point 2 was 177 VDC. I'm running it on Germany's 220 volt mains and the transformer is wired for that. Again, is that normal?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Stefan
