so the estimated is 1.6 b... then you'd want to take the cash option (why let a govt control the money for 30 years??? what if theres a bankruptcy?) the cash value is 1/2 = $800,000,000, then you have to pay state taxes which is usually 45-50% = $400,000,000
then you'd really want to invest it for future proofing... put it in AAA bonds in several institutes for a return of 1.5 mil a year for all of eternity <- this is what O'Leary says anyway
