Picking up a Munsters black and white on Friday. It is missing the goodie bag. Was there any promo plastics for a keychain for this game?
I am a promo plastics junkie.
Quoted from Hammerhead1550:I've been searching for them too, but no one has them, I even called the Pinball Refinary to see if they had any of the custom ones they ran a while back, and still no luck. Pinball life has a pair that will fit, but they don't have the spider webs.
If I find some I will shoot you a message.
What does it matter what the game is rated on pinside? Who even looks at those rating? Play the game, if you like it, play it some more.
Quoted from ShinyBall:Says the guy that that does ratings. [quoted image]
Quoted from ShinyBall:Says the guy that that does ratings. [quoted image]
Guilty as charged.
Quoted from oldpins:Those caps look great, like your friends work. Does he have the files listed on Thingiverse for others to print, or would he consider sharing the .stl file?
Do the replacement caps simply slide over the top of the original caps?
Thanks.
The files are on thingaverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2780429
My friend printed at 45%. I thought they were a bit tall so I cut off the bottom rung and a half. Also hollowed out the center with a drill bit hoping to disperse the light a bit better.
Completely removed the factory flasher cap. Made a small plastic piece, roughly the same size as the stern flasher board. Epoxied the new flasher cover to the plastic piece.
Quoted from big-c66:Any more I need this
We all need this! Messaged Hemi to see if he would do another run. Crickets so far.
Quoted from beltking:Tonight the wife said the lower playfield isn’t launching balls. Looked in cabinet and the three balls where near the sub. Anyone have issues with tiny balls coming out? Not sure how it happened.
Wait, the lower playfield has 3 mini balls? I guess one of mine flew out too. I only have 2 down there.
Quoted from Thunderbird:Have played the pro plenty too, but its missing so much, even though a very good pro machine.
1. The lower playfield has so much action and importance to the game.
2. Opening skill shot to the basement is the best skill shot in all of pinball.
3. Upper and lower MB happening at the same time is a pure adrenaline rush.
4. Grandpa’s enlarging ray has a great deal more meaning and is a great illusion transitioning from big ball to smaller to appear going down in the basement.
5. Lower playfield is the best toy in all of pinball. Think about it, it is a complete pinball machine in and of itself. Stern could actually package just that machine as a desk top pinball game and it would sell big time. Best lower pinball design in all of pinball. Not a fan of the others, like AC/DC, etc.
6. It is a different fun experience to just play the lower playfield and practice all the shots down there. Plus the new basement light shows Dwight and Corey put in are very cool.
What is this basement skill shot you speak of?
Quoted from big-c66:Just to let Munster premium owners know I bought a set of the pro side armor n cut the hole out for the lower button on the premium n they look good. So if u have been wanting a set of side armor get u the pro ones before there gone n modify them it’s not hard at all.
Please post a picture of your cut out.
Quoted from Svente69:Nice Alternative Translite……
What sorcery is this? Fantastic looking translite with an amazing effect.
Quoted from DentalDude88:Anyone that comes over always gravitates toward Munsters, especially after they play my other machines. Family favorite! Such a smooth shooter and the new code has easily elevated it to Top 10. And adding insider Connected has made it even more interesting.
[quoted image]
What does the insider connect add to the game? Wondering if it is worth adding.
I can’t get the insider connect working with my Godzilla so I can’t even see what it’s all about. Support is working on it.
Quoted from freddy:This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I have both these games side by side. I find Turtles much easier than Munsters. The factory setting of no ball save on Munsters is the equalizer. I know you can adjust the ball save setting, but all my games are set to factory 3 ball.
Topper question.
Without the topper installed there are zero taunts from the raven. Is that correct?
Is there a setting to turn on the taunts?
Since I can’t find a topper anywhere, could I just buy the node board in the topper and plug it in to get the taunts, if there is no setting?
Quoted from Thunderbird:Not correct about zero taunts. There still are taunts, just not as many. But it would make sense, if you plugged into the RJ 45 jack with a connected topper node board, as if the topper were really there, should kick in the Raven response taunts. The software would be none the wiser, as its only checking to see if the node board firmware had been updated for a topper node board existence. Doubt it would cost much to try, as I’ve purchased other node board’s in the past and they’re not expensive.
I haven’t played my Munsters extensively so I was unaware of the amount of raven taunts.
Next step is to hunt down a parts breakdown of the topper and find out what node board it uses.
I don’t even know if a parts breakdown is available for the topper.
Quoted from Pinhead1982:Sad day, leaving Munsters Club
Sold LE & topper ☹️
Worst decision ever! You had the topper too! I hope it wasn’t to buy some other pinball machine….
Quoted from Stebel:Does anyone has a scan of the original BW instruction card? I’d like to print it out on better quality paper.

Quoted from cabal:finish the year of with a round of midnight madness is there a better way?
Surely you mean Munster Madness? Or should I play a game tonite at Midnight?
Quoted from fhk:Hello, where can i get this plastic? THX!
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
I emailed Stern and they sent me a plastic and the stainless protector to prevent the breakage from occurring again. That was about 3 or 4 months ago.
Quoted from Utubereefer:My ball save time is defaulting to zero seconds… is this the correct setting? Freakin brutal. Thanks pin heads
Yes sir. No ballsave on single ball play by factory default. Fitting for a game theme from the 60s, mimics old school pinball rules.
Knapp is reporting Black Knight toppers are being remade by stern. Could Munsters be next?
Black Knight topper is $1500.
Quoted from C0untDeM0net:Got a response from Stern that a fix should be coming for the end of game bonus calculation
Was looking at your video of the countdown and then the clip from the show afterwards. Is the glare that is usually shown on the screen during the show clip been eliminated? Maybe the I just couldn’t see it in the video.
Quoted from AirSchatz:Do you have one of these, worth the money? Do you have a link?[quoted image]
AliExpress has a version of this sign. $95 cnd delivered. I have it, but haven’t mounted it yet.
