Quoted from Spacemanratso09:Plus I got an email from someone involved in the game and I didn’t really care for their response
Interesting..
Quoted from spida1a:Hey!!! Grabbing yours Saturday!? Me too ... heading out to Trent's in Columbus and driving it back home. Can't wait!!!
Lol, Your old FG box opening popped up on YouTube yesterday and I re-watched it, Are you still making videos of each machine?
Quoted from cottonm4:What is that statement supposed to mean?
The back glass is huge on Munsters. Munsters are all over the play field and video screen.
Munsters are all over the cabinet.
What more could you want?
I want all 70 episodes of the Munsters in there so I can sit and watch them in between games.
Quoted from JMK:Changed our pin time/clock so we could see & play Midnight Madness.
It’s not often we’re up at midnight playing the collection.
In any case, just as we reached Munster Madness, the clock struck and started Munster Madness.
Was so freaking awesome- pinball nirvana.
Yeah, the rules aren’t super deep but this is still such a fun pin as it stands.
Haters gonna hate but they’re missing out on a cool game.
I held an IFPA Tournament last week and out of the 11 pins Musters got picked for the final at around 12ish. They were playing and Midnight madness kicked in..... well.. they had to replay that game. totally forgot about it.. what were the chances.
Quoted from cottonm4:Xmen sounds like the LOTR I got to play several weeks ago. I don't remember too much about it except for the magnetic ring in the back that held the ball in suspension. And the machine was talking to me. And all the while I'm thinking "send me the ball, send me the ball." I was about ready to unfold the nail file from my trusty Swiss Army Knife and give my self a manicure as I was waiting for the pin to make a move. I was bored as hell with it.
LOTR not my cup of tea. Does not sound like Xmen would be, either.
Hit both flipper buttons to skip animations, same for Munsters lower playfield
Quoted from cottonm4:So, for the 3rd time, what is the sell number Munsters has to hit before you consider it not a failure?
For B/W it was 3000 before making a profit, I would guess Stern would near on be the same?
Quoted from cottonm4:How did you arrive at 3000? Did you get a peek at B/W books?
Keep in mind, IMO, Stern set its bar at 1,964 with The Beatles. That's way be low 3000 units.
Quoted from finplanner69:So I'm a noob...so I'm guessing here...longer screw/post and a rubber sleeve??? Would you be so kind as to tell me the exact parts I need to get to do this fix because it got stuck there again today.
Have had it stuck there also (in a comp) You would think the game code would compensate for a lost ball... but no. Turned off lower playfield for the rest of the comp.
Quoted from Thunderbird:You’re going to be selling one I think. Adams next to Munsters would be cool.
It is, Addams is the better game.
20200510_144146 (resized).jpgQuoted from chuckwurt:If it were me, I’d rebuild the flippers with nicer parts from PBL or Marco. Then I’d open the coin door put a standing fan shooting into the cabinet and practice backhanding the shot with the glass off.
If that works, contact Vireland about getting his flipper coil fans. Your games flippers will stay strong for long periods of play. Little to no fade in power as they try to heat up.
Rocket Flippers?
Quoted from gorditas:Did you find one? Never seem to be in stock. I ordered one several weeks ago, got an email this week that they have been informed that Stern is discontinuing them. It wasn't a typical pinball retailer, so take that with a grain of salt.
Oh crap, that does not sound good
