Does make a difference...Even better in person...
Agreed. I honestly never gave 'upgraded' glass a second thought for years. My game spaces have always had lower lighting levels to begin with so I wasn't concerned too much with overhead glare. Now having gotten 3 games in the past several months with the HD glass, I can only say that it really is a big difference in person. Pics don't do justice. And when you are at a pinball show, there is usually so much lighting you can't really tell to much of a difference, but at home- Hell Yeah!
Power blades are awesome except for the fact that they don't stick worth a crap. Everyday have to press them back in place. Need to find a better tape. Anyone recommend a brand of tape?
Quoted from Bundy:HD glass and good speakers/sub is the best money spent. Couldn't care less for most other mods.
Does the LE come with HD glass? The flyer says anti reflective glass.....

Yep
Yep, my LE came with a sheet of anti-reflective glass. The pin has such a stunning pf- looks fantastic with the upgraded glass.

I haven’t had an issue with the stock tape, but try thin carpet tape, which you can get at a local hardware store.

Thank you I will try that.

There is an actual fiberglass adhesive cloth...incredibly thin and strong, that I use on mirror blades...I'll dig up the roll and post #

#467 here, Melborne,
Australia
After about 4 weeks playing my LE #111, still loving this game. And it's a dream theme for me too.
Code not the deepest, but exactly this remembers me back to the 90's. Can't exactly describe this great feeling to travel back in time.
So, if those hater-girls hate this pin, because of code, they must also hate nearly most of all 90's pins.
However, it's a keeper in my arcade and pin collection.
For those of you who are not going to install a protector, here is something you might consider for keeping your Premium/LE lower play field window scratch free.
The product is Frisket. You can buy it in clear finish or matte finish. For a window you would want clear finish.
Frisket is what artists use to masking areas of their artwork. It is low tack and peels off easily.
You would need to trace out the window on a piece of tracing paper and perhaps add 1/2" all the way around and then cut a piece of frisket to match your trace. The frisket will protect the window and also cover the gap between the window and play field. When the frisket gets too messed up to see through, peel it off and replace with a new piece.
I use this stuff in front of my slings and high ball traffic area on one of my restored pins. It is not like the mylar semi-circles Bally used to use in front of its slings. Frisket is paper thin and does not affect ball travel.
This is not a requirement. It is offered as a possible option for anybody who wants some sort of protection for around the window area.
I'm probably preachin' to the choir here, but I think Jack Danger said he was going to be playing a Munsters Premium on his Dead Flip stream tonight if ya wanna tune in and watch. I know I'll be tuning in.
Put a few mods on my premium. Side rails, titan clear rubbers, grandpa. Cup holder.

That is real sexy Tatman! Looks awesome!
Quoted from pinzone:Hey RUM-Z ,, what time is the DeadFlip stream tonight? I cannot find any info.
thanks,
Actually this is from his facebook 4 hours ago.
Tonight's stream will be our last from the old Dead Flip studio. (F's in chat) We'll be playing on a Munsters Premium, left here by Gavin. The stream will start a little later tonight, gotta get the kiddo. Let’s pour one out for the old location. Pinball…

thanks,
He said earlier he was gonna shoot for 6pm Central/7pm Eastern, but it's a hectic week as he's moving all the pins and stuff into his new location, so it looks like he's running behind. I've got it on his Twitch channel waiting for him to go live right now.
Quoted from Wotto:Gotta love it when a fly in /fly out visitor takes you re top spot
Well my ten year old son has the grand champion score on both my Munsters and Deadpool. All scored this week. He’s only played a few times. I’m getting sick of looking at them already. Won’t tell him that though. Smug little bugger.
Quoted from MK6PIN:JD killing it on the stream!!! insane action.....

Cant wait to watch this stream. Got a little work to do and i will be tuning in.

Acknowledges how cool the lower pf is, and how brutal the machine in general. He was killing it!!! Saw alot I've never gotten to (screen stuff that's hard to watch while playing)....this machine is sooo underrated!!!
Hey all, I am still waiting for my Premium and am told there was a production delay. Can anyone confirm what's going on with production these days? I am excited to get my game....been waiting for a while now.
Thanks!

I heard the same thing. Something about a problem with the lower playfields?
Quoted from gac:I heard the same thing. Something about a problem with the lower playfields?
Yep, they ran out of them!
Quoted from cpr9999:Yep, they ran out of them!
That could definitely be a problem.
Question... since these won't be built right away, will they install the latest software code when they are finally built and shipped or do they send them out with earlier code? Just curious.
Quoted from gac:I heard the same thing. Something about a problem with the lower playfields?
Maybe they are adding a protector over the ramp so the mini balls will stop jumping over the opto?

The next batch that is built should ship with the newest code.
Quoted from Jaeg:I want to play #467
The doors open Jaeg, anytime your in town, come for a bash.
So glad i got this machine, such a blast!
Quoted from MK6PIN:Wish you could truly see how beautiful Hooked shooter plate looks on this game w my lit shooter rod...An amazing understatement of class...This machine is just drop dead gorgeous!!!

I see now and totally agree, looks magic!
