Just updated my pro. Set the time to try midnight madness and it does some funky sh#$. The ball launch sound continues throughout the whole multiball, the first time i tried it it was midnite right at the launch of a ball, and it just skipped the midnight madness and counted a ball as missing. With the ball launch sounds going constantly it is impossible to hear the voices and it really makes for a not fun ball. Other than that so far the game plays as it should

Just unboxed my new Musters Pinball, & I saved the box. Video is on YouTube if anyone is interested. Added a few mods too.

So are people doing a full or a quick update? Any issues with the new code?

#2804 47 days ago
Quoted from Sethman:

FYI: you’re also going to need some sort of spacer. I’m in the middle of doing the same. Got the larger mounting plates etc. the manual shows a speaker gasket and 1/2 inch spacers used in the LE setup. We’ll also need a spacer of some sort. Otherwise the tweeter is hitting the front speaker panel mesh grill.

All the Stern part numbers are in my speaker/amp update thread.

I think all you need to do is the quick update.

Just woke up and seen this update, gotta get it downloaded and try it out..i know im probably in the minority here but i really wish that during Midnight Madness that you didn't have both playfields going at the same time..im.not a fan of that at all.

Updated the code on my Pro after work and got a few games in. Besides what’s in the Read Me I noticed some new call outs and they sped up some of the animations of the video clips like the Herman Hurry Up when he falls into the hearse to go to work. Also seems like they calmed the flippers down a bit. I changed my back to the default setting from Soft.

My 11 year old loves the new code. On his third game he got 213 million and now owns the machine.

Stern has been great too on sending out replacement parts quickly. The switch for the Grandpa scoop arrived two days after I called. Called today for a replacement plastic that broke just in front of Herman. They are sending an updated part with some metal protection so it wont happen again. Its great to see they are addressing the weak point in the physical design with updated parts in short order. Still loving the game and looking forward to seeing what else is new in the code and undocumented.

Duplicate....disregard

#2812 47 days ago

Would be good (for PRELE) if you could choose to cancel the lower pf mode for the 2nd time (on the first level) if you've already completed it.

Quoted from Who-Dey:

Ok now that i know what im doing a little bit and what im wanting to achieve with these jackpots, this game has just became fun as hell and insanely addictive. Shallow code maybe but its a brilliant and fun code! Doesn't get much better than this folks!
I did experience the lower playfield bug today during a really good game and that screwed my eyes out and pissed me off....grrrr!! I'm also loving this lower playfield because it is fun as hell and the more you play it, the funner it gets and it actually has meaning and the shots take skill to hit!
Holy shit im stoked about this game. I feel like Spaceman right now!!

Hahahahahaha

Just play the new code. The shaker motor is so much better! They tweaked it perfectly. Played it on maximum and it was normal!

#2816 47 days ago

Yep saw you had them referenced. I’ll probably end up ordering Stern’s gasket but for now my makeshift setup is working alright.

Hey the pin stadium post here just made me think about something. Where is this dimly lit game that needs extra lighting so bad that so many people talk about? I play this game in the dark and i can see everything perfectly, and im getting to be blind as a bat in my old age. Everything seems just fine to me?

Man since you think that I think I’m going to take them off glad you said something

If you like them thats all that matters. Personally though i think this game has a perfect light show from the factory and doesn't need anything else.

#2832 46 days ago

No I agree I’m taking them off

I don't like them personally, at least from what i see in the pictures but people have different tastes and thats ok too.

How many balls are installed in this game? I don't have mine yet.

It would be nice to see some more clips in the code.

Eddy doesn’t have much- would be good if you hit a loop you see him jump out of cupboards or crawl though something. Loads of that in the Munsters

#2842 46 days ago
Quoted from Wesmantooth:

No I agree I’m taking them off

Since you already have them why not fool with the settings? Supposedly you can calm them down to the point that maybe they will only do some subtle... but hopefully cool effects. Not full color bomb.

#2843 46 days ago

download new update and installed...1st game I got Munster Madness! Not the highest score I ever had 51mill but, still achieved it. I was able to set shaker from min to moderate now with the update w/o shaking the crap out of the game (much better). Good update..but looking for more in near future.

#2844 46 days ago

With the new code the light show for Muster Madness seems much better than what I remember. It looked amazing today when I reached it.

#2845 46 days ago

After I won "Grampa's jackpot" and it ended..my lower playfield temporally went dark..scared me for a sec...then it came back on after I lost the main play field ball. Never did that that I can recall...new code lighting? Anyone else see this?

Question for you LE / Prem guys that have been putting some time in on your games.

Have you guys noticed any hazing or clouding of the lower PF Lexan cover like we have heard about on some the AC DC units and Lucy Units?

No (LE)
But:
When I got mine I did blow out sawdust entire play field & underneath and upper / lower,... basically everywhere. Cleaned the cover and adjust.
Still show clear and clean.

Yes a littel ( LE). Going to pull the cover soon and clean

#2849 46 days ago

I was thinking of pulling the cover as soon as it arrives and Mylar protecting it before any hazing or cloudy starts. Mylar is cheap enough to keep redoing periodically and now with the cover screws on top it just makes things a lot easier to rinse and repeat.

Not a bad idea.... hmmmm
