Williams, 1990Pulled a round-tripper today and met the greatest guy this hobby has ever known.
For those of you who haven't met/chatted with pmWolf all I have to say is he's the consummate gentleman and one hell of a pinhead.

The game is in great shape!
Playfield is awesome. Barely any wear so I already ordered Cliffys for the whole game.
Only thing it needs to make it perfect is some cabinet touch ups.
Looking to see if I can commission a UW Fine Arts student to do the paint work if I feel it's to intricate for my skill level.
If you ever get the opportunity to buy a game from pmWolf go for it!

Woke up at 5:30am Sunday in Madison, Wi.
Made it through Chicago as the sun was coming up behind the city.
Skirted my way across a bit of northern Indiana.
Cut a left and headed north to south central Michigan.
Beautiful drive.
Beautiful Whirlwind.
If you ask me, half the fun of this hobby is the adventures you embark on to find your favorite games.

I got so, so lucky.
I just happened to be on Pinside when pmWolf posted he had the game for sale.
I guess it was fate that you bought my Cyclone and that Whirlwind popped up a day later.
This pin has been my White Whale for a couple years but I finally nabbed it!
I'm so glad that you ended up with that Whirlwind! It's always great to see a game go to a good home!

Side note: Don't hesitate to deal with Randy. Absolutely a top-notch guy. This deal went smoothly from start to finish....(well, at least for me. I didn't have to drive 13 hours).

4 states in just 12 hours? Damn!
When I did my round trip from Sacramento to Phoenix I only hit two states lol and that was 11 hours EACH WAY!
