One of my favorite comments of all time "10k by Christmas" has been around for so long that now the games are actually in that range. How can we update this? Honor it? Maybe make a meme to post as a sort of pinside trophy? Lots of sharp people on here. Post your ideas. Maybe 20k by Christmas?

Maybe this becomes a history thread where we all try to find the first time someone said it. Then make a holiday of the date. (I'd be onboard for that) then everyone posts 10k games for sale on that date every year.

The 10K before Christmas quote is stupid and over used. Its almost as bad as " in before the lock"... good grief.

Jason Rufer-mnpinball is the inventor of "10k by Christmas".

It was originally used in reference to the shitty XMEN LE, IIRC.

Does anyone disagree?
