Yes the possible next step is a whale in Canada. But I am guessing the whale will be found in the states!
Quoted from greatwichjohn:Yes the possible next step is a whale in Canada. But I am guessing the whale will be found in the states!
Yes, because our economy is SO much better these days and "whales" are making money hand over fist in the stock market.

Now you're just doing it on porpoise.
Quoted from Striker:The license, theme, and all other details of the GPMOAT are top secret and confidential.
john downgrades pinsides current need-to-know status.
Quoted from greatwichjohn:$100k US Is not a big deal to multi millionaires.
This is the mindset of a guy that goes bankrupt.

So.... you are also terrible at guessing
Quoted from Elvishasleft:What you really need is a moron.
Maybe switch the pitch from whale to moron?
Or the way Bugs say's it:

True pinball collectors place value on protos that came from an actual pinball factory. It’s owning a rare piece of their coveted brand that attracts them. There’s no value to a game that a random pee-pee guzzler made in his garage.

I would say not. Anything quality built for pinball, & one of a kind license theme does not need to come from a true pinball manufacturer. Predator is a prime example, whales would love to own one. Same with King Pin game.

as a pinball machine, predator sucked. if you delivered something like that for 100K, i would be watching my back.

Kingpin was made by a true pinball manufacturer. 8 to 10 prototypes were made.

Yes & we are waiting on the remakes.
Quoted from ralphwiggum:Honest question… why are you sharing this information?
Full disclosure, he knows how to manage money now!
Quoted from Roostking:Full disclosure, he knows how to manage money now!
It’s always easier to manage when you don’t have any.
Quoted from BMore-Pinball:I would rather go to Vegas and put 100 grand on black.
Probably less risky than giving it to you.
Or you could come to my house and we could pitch pennies for it. Because all of us multi-millionaires are so flippant with money.
At least you would get a boat ride and crabs out of it. More than anybody will get out of this shitshow.
Quoted from greatwichjohn:$100k US Is not a big deal to multi millionaires.
Wrong. Wealthy people are wealthy because they don’t do stupid things with money. One could give you 100k and see it evaporate. Or one could invest it reasonably and earn say 10% and have $110k in a year. And that is a difference in net worth of $210k which is approaching a quarter of one million. Which is a lot to even a multi millionaire.

Can I at least get a whale t-shirt if I lose my money to you?
Quoted from BMore-Pinball:Can I at least get a whale t-shirt if I lose my money to you?
Absolutely! I might know somebody that has some embroidery connections.
Quoted from Elvishasleft:What you really need is a moron.

It is already that.
Buy AIQ premium. Redo artwork for new theme. Tinker with software and sell game. I guarantee that game will be better than anything you can create from scratch. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Start with a beautiful wheel and try not to screw it up.

the difference between 100K earning 10K becoming 110K and zero is only 110K, not 210K. goes to show how easy it is to make 100K disappear.
John, I am just amazed that you have been able to stay drunk for three days
I cannot imagine anyone sober still thinking that this thread was a good idea
If money is measured in sea going critters.
A Whale is $100K
A Dolphin or Tuna is what ?
A Salmon is what ?
I'm down at the Minnow level. What is that worth ?

Well it was his birthday.

I'd like to know what the ideas were that were so bad that he went with this one instead.

That development is new to this thread.
Quoted from DBLM:I’m out here in Annapolis doing my part looking for whales. Haven’t seen any yet, but will keep my eyes peeled. Hope the fireworks don’t scare them away.

Water is freaking beautiful today. I hope there are as many fireworks over the water as there were yesterday.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Water is freaking beautiful today. I hope there are as many fireworks over the water as there were yesterday.
It is gorgeous out right now and the conditions are beautiful. No need to even turn on the generator. I see a bunch of fireworks to the south. Still no sign of whales.
Quoted from SNES:I haven’t seen any whales yet. Maybe that’s because I’m in Michigan?

SNES and I are working hard trying to help John find his whale. Who else is helping?
