Anyone know where I can buy one of these? It goes in the C12 position on the WPC-95 Driver board. PBL, Marco, GPA, BAA or bigdaddys doesn't seem to sell it or even a bigger one.

I never think to check ebay for this type of stuff. Thank you.

Digikey is good too.

That is where i get most my larger filter caps.

One great big "HUH?!?!"
The WPC-95 doesn't use a 10000uF, 63V cap for C12 on the driver board.
Are you replacing a cap that somebody already replaced...and they went a bit high in voltage?

C12 is supposed to be a radial 10000uF, *35V* cap.
Don't go with a snap led cap as a replacement - you run the risk of damaging the board's plated through hole. Use something more along the line of a Nichicon UVR1V103MRD. But be aware these are about 0.4" taller than the existing cap. Make sure you have the head room above this cap.

Maybe something like this?:

Fast shipping and lots of other parts you will need from the Plains....

This is what is in the machine now in both the C10 and C12 spots so they must have been replaced at some point. The cap in C12 broke off and was sitting in the bottom of the backbox.
This is my first WPC-95 so I am not sure what "Right" looks like yet.
Thanks for the heads up.

Take a good look at the back of the board.

See how much work has been done, and then check the values of components that have been replaced.

Yeah, I just got the game this afternoon and have only begun to tear into it. I guess the game doesn't need that cap as it plays without it. Once I saw the cap laying in the bottom of the box I turned the machine off. Who knows how long it has been off though.

Ebay is a huge crapshoot for capacitors, I will never buy them there again. Used caps being sold as new all over the place.
