Williams, 1993Well, I think I'm done. Took the vux top off and bent the tabs. Seems to work fine now. Added some spots and played first game on fully functional game. Hit super jackpots and was lighting it up. I did notice one of the pop bumper rings is broke as well as the metal plate that goes over the fiber disc. Still works fine and I'll replace down the road.
Special thanks to Pinguy. I havent been in the hobby long and it isn't hard to tell he is one of the best in the hobby.
Glad to hear you are nearly 100%. It will be nice to have a spare when you get you get your original board back.
A tip on your attempted repair of the high voltage section of the DMD driver board.
You cannot replace the parts one by one and test in between. Many are interconnected and the new part will probably go BANG when you power on. Many of the high voltage parts should be replaced all at the same time BEFORE power up other wise you will go round and round in circles blowing up parts and never fixing it.
Usually when repairing this section you would replace ALL of the parts at the same time and then power up to avoid this.
