Plus you can install it 'backwards' so that the light faces the boards, and actually gives a VERY nice even glow to the glass when re-installed. So much better than the buzzing and humming fluorescent tube. For very little $. I used existing wiring and simply bypassed the starter and ballast, taking them out of the mix as they're unneeded.

Maybe old news, but in case anyone else hasn't done this and has been thinking about it. These just require you to direct connect 110v to your fluorescent tombstones. Make sure one leg goes to either pin on the left, and the other leg (black or white - it doesn't matter) goes to the opposite site, either pin. If you try to wire them both to the same side, you'll blow the main fuse on your power input. Don't ask me how I know.
