I take you've never been there then. My wife and I went there this last summer... I tipped every single time. Yet, it was clear (at least that night) - that was the one and only time I'd ever go there. I spoke very little to staff and still they were rude.
That aside... the pins were running great that night, although some douche spilled his beer down my leg and on my shoe.... but that's not the staffs fault. It typified the type of place it is. Still, I played one game of each pin and then we got the hell out of there.
My advice to visitors.... don't go there.
