Hi guys,

I would like to see some further videos or photos of the legendary #Playboy Pin2000 prototype.

I have seen the "Tilt" bonus video thousands of times but the quality is really bad and you can't see much from playfield.

There were a few events in the past where this prototype was for free play. Maybe someone shots some photos or video?

For the lucky persons who had the chance to play:
How well does it play?
How can be the magnets activated?
Where goes the ball on launchramp if you plunge to hard?
What happened with the subwayramp/ why are the both holes blocked with paper?
Are there 2 skillshots on launchramp?
There are some diverter in the back of the game when do they act?
What happened if you shot the 3 Playboybunny Dropdowntargets?

Thanks

You can reference some of these old threads, these folks had a lot more info, and I know a few folks have tried their hand at completing Playboy and Wizard Blocks.

Anyone who played the Playboy remember which launchramp is installed?

No, but the ball does gets stuck in a few places...
Eg, behind the entrance ramp from the right drain.
The game does not have finished programming...
That is why the trap hole is stuffed with paper.

Thanks for the information.

So I think there were 2 skillshots?

Interesting that the 2 outholes in playfield are blocked with paper but if I remember right I have seen a photo that these holes weren‘t blocked anymore?

Maybe someone knows a bit more?

I have heard of wizard blocks but didn’t know about this one . I’m a pin2k fan ( I know a lot of guys don’t care for them ) and can only imagine how awesome a video interactive playboy would or could have been !

#12 3 years ago

I’d love to see one built/completed.

Especially if they did like their Touchscreen game. No nudity, partial nudity, full nudity. Depending on time and settings.

I found another video of Williams Playboy pinball machine. It's 53 seconds long, and it was uploaded at 3.5.2020; five days ago

I'm gonna assume that terrible music is just generic background stuff the video maker put in and wasn't actually going to be in the game?

You are probably right

Played one years ago but simply cannot remember anything about and sadly did not have the foresight to take any video of it!!!

So if people played one. Is this a prototype in someones basement or now long lost?

The game is in a private collection.
Along with other one-of-a-kind games.

Does that owner allow visitors to play, or is it pretty private.....? It would be cool for the OP to get pictures/video so a recreation could be done, like wizard blocks etc.

I believe it is pretty private.

Why aren't more people talking about this???? This is amazing work!!! Really cool to see some light shed on this for the first time in a long time.

#34 3 years ago

Very cool up and running- Is this old video or new?

#35 3 years ago

Wow! This looks like it would have been a cool machine. Lots of modern type presentation.

Thanks a lot. Maybe most people didn’t know about the 4th Pinball 2000 game?

Lots of work and lots of hours are in this playfield.

#37 3 years ago

That magnet catch feature is freaking sweet. Honestly the whole playfield looks pretty unique and different (especially for a Pin2K!) Such a shame that Williams called it quits when it did, they were continually pushing the envelope all the way to the end.

This is just only a few days old.

It’s too bad the powers that be ( rights owner , game designers , new manufacturer , etc... ) can’t bring this and wizard blocks across the finish line for production . I know the moneys not there for such an endeavor , plus whatever other logistic roadblocks , but a man can dream .
