Same here. I literally LOLd. Probably missed it by 1 second, but that means I was a couple hundred back in line. Now for the slowest 55 minutes of the year.

Doubt it my timer ran out and not sure how they would know it is you since there wasn't like a waitlist screen, oh well cross my fingers for the next block I guess.

So, is the waiting list going to open up as a separate dropdown after all the tickets are initially in people's carts? You'd then add your tickets and then checkout and be charged later once picked? I'm assuming a few people let a cart expire for VIP tickets but that screen had already changed to no tickets available and never changed back from what I saw.
I'm going to Pinburgh again! Dumb luck, blind squirrel, call it whatever you want. If I hadn't gotten a ticket at 11 or noon, I probably would have still gone to Replay FX, but this was what I really wanted. I'm VERY excited to go back there.

Pretty much so. However any tickets held in abandoned carts go right to the wait list as opposed to being re-released at 12:15pm.
They could raise attendance to 2000 and I think they would still sell out. They should offer it as an incentive that if you qualify in A or B you get a spot in the next years tournament.
Sold out in under 4 seconds - wow, this tournament is crazy popular!
And even with panicking, twitchy fingers, I got ticket!!
We had 3 players on the phone all trying to add 4 tickets to the cart. We all F5'd it and tried the instant they went on sale. NONE of us got in. Here's hoping for the waitlist. I got my waitlist email at 11:03 Central so hopefully I'm near the top of the list.
I am in. But the waitlist will go deep quickly since the canceled and time out carts go to the waitlist rather than getting rereleased.

All those devices connected may have been the problem in slowing things down. I actually went around the house and made sure nothing was connected to the wifi except my one laptop.
I wasn't able to enter my ifpa number because the site was down (I know, I know, I should know it by heart, lol). Is there anything I can do in a few days after everything settles down to get it corrected?
