years in the making .... the one I got is actually in overall great condition! perfect playfield however too many mods/toys and terrible LEDs installed and yes will tear her down and make it look like new! (lol) Funny thing is it was one hour away from me and the guy delivered it to my door!
guessing your going to miss the "sell me your MM PM's"

been busy at work and have limited time to explore my new to me toy, but off the top of my head there is :

2 lit archers
1 lit ogre
1 changing color globed Merlin
1 damsel mod in tower

Must be getting old was thinking about a TOM(mirror) set up as its hard to see the ball guides for the bonus multipliers!

any one have pics of the castle assembly , having an issue with the left rear tower leaning ? checked assembly nothing broke or cracked , just not sitting flush to the front tower to return it being straight

Think a couple other modders have done this as well?
Have one on my game, should have been done when designed !

Absolutely hated the cheap plastic stand offs ... switched them to the standard black posts in between the plastics ...

had this installed on mine ... they are 906 bulbs with the domes that are the screw in type! not the twist!
mine has a super bright Led 12v light strip on the top of the plexiglass making for great effect when the lights flash!

anyone have the screw lengths for the ball return guides 2 different sizes ...!
at work and cant measure them trying to place an order!

Finally lit up the plastic covering the catapult

Removed the screw that holds the catapult in place , got a longer one and a spacer .. desoldered the wires off the Comet warm white PCB board and soldered on longer length wire.
Ran wire behind the post and soldered to GI socket...

If your using warm white in your GI ...

Desolder the wires. Remove the micro switch clean ramp ... reinstall.

Still haven't had the experiance of washing a set of ramps with all the hardware still on them... frankly scares the hell out me ..
But thanks LTG ..one day will have to give it a go .

would try to reflow the pins .... probably not making a good connection !

Finally completed... 3 coats of pure wax,complete shop job, mylar placed at spots of vulnerability,all micro switch have been covered,2SMD warm white GI, 4 SMD color matching insert lighting, cheap plastic standoffs removed and replaced with standard black spacers, all hardware replaced with black oxide screws and lock washers ...

milestone for me .... managed to get to Battle The Kingdom .... just could not get it done!

The catapult coil ... the manual says AL 23-800 in my game discovered AE 23-800..
Having an issue with a weak shot from catapult...

After some research... yes the same only difference is the placement of the lugs ... no diode on both

so finding this game very tough to beat! What is a decent score for this game I average 40-90 million points in a game, feeling like I play forever and still cant get to the Final Kingdom Mode. by percentage my replay level is at 97 million.
any tips on gameplay to beat the King of Payne

same boat .... actually funny that the high score was done Dec 2012 never beaten since....at 309 million !
frustratingly fun game !

perhaps dremel out the hole a little to move it over to the right !

some how the castle turret looks off should be facing the ramp not the side of the cabinet!

more I look at that picture ... think you need to look at the right damsel castle assembly, dont think its installed correctly !

Sure it's been asked but has anyone figured out how to put MMR Topper wired to the original.. ?
Have access to a topper... so was thinking .

In the wrong club ... this is the original MM club , but congrats on your acquisition... they are fun games .

Keep what you have ... repair or restore it! Think there are some issues with the Mirco playfields so use caution there.
If the originals weren't so great there would be no remakes ...

check and see why the mech is failing , take motor apart and see if the gear is binding? or another issue why its not performing as should !

On yours it's a red mini-post ... but you could put a washer where the wireform is attached to the playfield.

As stated I'm going the wood light panel route... annoying design with these tubs sliding down the glass when removed .

So could be a broken wire or a pooched solenoid (doubtful)
Nothing major in the way of repairs ...

If you want the true Williams/Bally look leave in the standard orange DMD !

Colordmd is a great product so if your changing it from the original why wouldn't you want to get the max benefit for spending $500.00

Check for a flakey switch ?
perhaps the game is not sensing the ball is in the hole !

Check the kicker mech...
After 20 plus years might need a refresh...
The coil works the switch works, I would definitely look to see if the mech is working as should, probably lots of dirt built up over the years...
New sleeve and coil stop. ?

Guessing it's hitting the wireform?
Adjust till it has a clear path through ..

Check when the catapult launches the ball ... is the ball hitting the Wireform?
If it is , it will take the momentum away from the ball .
It should be a clean release from the catapult.
