Does anyone make a nice laminated decal to fill the empty rectangular space on the front of the coin door? Hard to believe no one has made a sticker/decal for the coin door on this game yet. All of my other pins have stickers, decals or magnets on the coin doors, but can't find anything for MM.

Who sells replacement drawbridge door decals that don’t get chewed up within a few games?

Quoted from KJL:

I have Kerry’s castle protector and haven’t had the decal damaged in 15 years. But it
may be a heavier decal that is original

Sounds intriguing, where does one purchase Kerry’s castle protector? The decal on the drawbridge now was supposed to be heavy duty and laminated, but it didn’t last long. The torn up decal is an eyesore on such an epic pin.

I was referring to the castle door decal that gets damaged by the ball. Does anyone sell a super heavy duty laminated decal or some such?

Quoted from nerdygrrl:

I am pretty sure you can just get some mylar for it.

I purchased a new decal from Little Shop of Games and I'll put mylar over the new decal before installing it. Hopefully, it lasts longer before breaking up.

I just ordered this MM Royal topper for my original MM for $732.00. I’m sure it’s going to look amazing. How are you guys mounting the topper on the original? I assume a few holes must be drilled? Can’t wait until someone develops a simple kit to make it lighted and interactive with the original MM.

#648 2 years ago

This topper is just awesome. The detail is incredible. Now to figure out how to mount and wire this up to my original MM!

Mounted the remake topper on my original MM! Now just need to figure out how to wire it up. Either way, it looks bad ass! Definitely of the best toppers ever

Quoted from WizardsCastle:

Super awesome topper, but no chance is it better than the AFMr topper. That's the GOAT.

I think it’s just as cool, plus it doesn’t rattle and make a ton of noise like the AFMR topper. They’re both damn cool, though!

#677 2 years ago
Quoted from whthrs166:

I used the 12v power supply with the driver circuits for certain flasher for grounds. Works good and the topper was designed for 12v

Nice! Do you have any pics of the wiring connections? You made the connections in the back box or under the playfield? That topper has like 25 wires coming out of it…looks intimidating!

#681 2 years ago
Quoted from whthrs166:

Not yet I haven’t finished with tidying things up yet.

Very cool, the lighting effects you wired up look fantastic! I’ll just leave the topper unlit until someone comes out with a kit or wiring instructions to make it work with the OG MM. I love the way it looks lit or unlit. One of the best toppers ever, for sure.

Quoted from whthrs166:

You can pm me also

Awesome, thank you. I’ll play around with some test wiring connections and PM you with any questions. Your video post inspired me to finally order the remake topper

Personally I think the Flyland Designs one is a better option

Have to agree with this. Brian’s work is incredible!

Quoted from transprtr4u:

so finding this game very tough to beat! What is a decent score for this game I average 40-90 million points in a game, feeling like I play forever and still cant get to the Final Kingdom Mode. by percentage my replay level is at 97 million.
any tips on gameplay to beat the King of Payne

I’ve only ruled the kingdom once in 15 years of ownership and the ending was glorious. You can set the game to four balls and make sure the tilt bob isn’t set too sensitive. I also nudge a lot to avoid cheap drains. I think the score was around 500m that game. Getting some extra balls is also essential. Such a timeless amazing game along with AFM.

I never wired mine up, but it still looks bad ass on an original MM! If someone comes up with an adapter harness or easy to understand wiring diagram, I'll take a shot at wiring this thing up. It's one of the best toppers of all time, for sure.

I just used ultra sticky double sided servo tape on my CGC topper, no need to drill holes or fabricate anything. Can easily be removed in the future.
