So much stuff just has the buy it now on there so you don't have to deal with the hassle of a bidding war.
But it is convenient to be able to be the highest bidder and put in how much you're willing to go up to. If someone does try to snipe at the last second.

Just saw that there is going to be another run of MMr in early 2023!! I may finally be able to get my holy grail game!!
