    You need a relay and some way to control it. I would assume the bulb voltage is standard 6.3vac and that might be enough to run a small 5v relay to control the power to your lighting. If that doesn't work a small arduino may be able to sense the insert and trigger the relay. With the arduino you could also have a timer to keep the relay engaged for so long after the light goes out and back on.
