For some reason, the diagnostic switch on my LW3 won’t enter the diagnostics or audits and adjustments. Everything looks fine. Where should I start?

White wire looks like the common one, using your meter check continuity to board in the head.
Then check board.

My multimeter isn’t showing really anything from the lugs on the black switch. Does that mean that it is a bad switch?

Just two wires, briefly short them together to simulate a switch closure, if that works, then your switch has issues.

For some reason, right after I sent that post, the buttons worked, but only for about 3 minutes. Is that a sign of a bad switch or something else?

Dirty switch contacts, poor wiring connection, back to square one.
