How am I just now finding this? This is me I'm a LEP. What's the dollar cut offs for EM's, SS and System 11? My entire collection could be LEP?

I have bought a few games for as low as $40, games $200 or less. Where do I start. I'm a sucker for a good deal or should I say a none working pinball machine that is priced cheap. I just picked up a EM Friday for $125 its dirty. I will clean it, I already have it partially working and at some point I may sell it to a high end LEPer I don't think it will make it as high as a Medium pin man?

    Quoted from bob_e:

if the dried out grease is slowing the motor get in the gearbox before it burns out the motor.

I don’t know if this will work but a good friend of mine who was a big EM guy swore by Remington gun oil the aerosol type for cleaning and lubing. I haven’t tried it but I know he had used it.

Hadn’t seen any recent LEPs so here you go 9 miles from my house. Had to give it a good whip down. I think it’s going to clean up nice.

    Quoted from dasvis:

Always liked the graphics on that pin.
How much green did you part with for it?

$350, I think thats well within LEP range. It will need a MPU but I’m okay with that.

How many of my fellow LEP-ers will jump in the truck when they get off work drive 3 hours one way and back home for a good deal and be up at 6 am for work? I’m guessing most all of us.

Here is a LEP unload. No grandson (my normal help) available to off load today. So why not do it like I did dirt bikes back in the day just needed a wider ramp.

Okay so what’s the LEP cutoff on a EM in today’s world $$$? I think I’m a little high on my latest purchase but with inflation I may not be?

    #495 12 months ago
    Quoted from dasvis:

    EM - I'm thinking $150~300
SS - $300~600 (you never know, I picked up my decent but not working Stern Seawitch for $100)
All depends on condition of course.
DMD & above are normally out of the reach of true LEP men, unless you get lucky.

Yep that’s kinda what I was thinking. Oh well my last night run isn’t a LEP but that’s okay.

    #497 12 months ago
    Quoted from statictrance:

Just cause it isn't a LEP doesn't mean it wasn't a good deal - and it helps you live to LEP another day.

YEP I’m a LEP man and love a smoking deal. This one was a little over to fit the LEP life but still a good deal and it will live again.

And it now works. It will get a new cord cleaning and going over, but it boots and scores.
