Girl on the BG looks like she has a black eye.

    Quoted from DCRand:

$60 Egghead. Not sure if it was even worth that. Will decide later if it’s a project, or parts machine. Legs are so rusted if I put them in Evaporust, they will disappear.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Great LEP score. I have fixed worse! Make it a player.

    #253 7 months ago

$60. What a score. I am jealous, that would be a fun project

Sounds like lots of us enjoy reviving crappy old neglected worn out games. Give them a new lease on life and put them back out in circulation.

Second score in a month. Completed a proper social distancing pick up, he had it at the front of the garage, had wiped it down with bleach wipes which were still on top of the machine, and he stayed on one side of the garage while I looked it over. Agreed on price, I dropped the money on a table in the middle of the garage. Then rolled it out to my SUV, loaded up and left. Not a bad $150.00 Paddock. And came with a complete owners manual in the cabinet, look closely.

Great game, that will clean up nicely. That was one of my wife’s childhood favorites and we found one in Maine last summer that was more dough and in nearly the same condition.

    Good luck with it,
    Dave

Haaa. I'm offering my Gold Wings for sale on Craigslist with complimentary 4 pack of toilet paper and can of Lysol.

    Not available for sale separately.

I love the repair/restore process, it’s very very much a big part of the hobby. My wife told me when I retired that i “would” be finding a hobby that gets me off the couch, spending hours puttering and working in the shop keeps both of us happy!

Hasn't been a post here for a while. Thought I would toss one out: Two games for $300, and one of them Doodle Bug although with trashed back glass and really bad cabinet paint, but decent or better play field. The other is Honey, and probably a parts game although while the back box, back glass, and cabinet are terrible, the play field isn't bad.

    Solid LEP buy. Good job!

    #265 31 days ago

I love me a lep..give me a piece of crap non-working machine and I will have a smile on my face for 6 months while I bring it back to life. I don’t really care if I put 1000 hours into a machine I can’t sell for more than $500. I’m not in it for profit

    #266 31 days ago

I paid $200 for this one. It’s a huge project, but will be fun.

That is a fun looking game. Those upper flippers and progressive targets would be a blast

    #270 29 days ago

last fall I bought a Target Alpha for 225, All the steppers were siezed. Plays great now.

I'm a member of the low end price club. I've had well over 100 pins go through my hands
and rarely paid more than $225 for one. Kept the best 51. Some of the best deals were in swaps.
I'd trade my time fixing others machines for another broken one or swap one I had
that had been restored for 2 or 3 non-working pins.

Part of the fun is finding good deals. Much harder the last 10 years or so.

Welcome. Agree, when I got into this 10 years ago cheap projects were plentiful. Glad I bought more than I needed back then!
