I have a BSD that has reset a couple times. Checked the 5 V on the test point on the driver board and it was 4.9 V. Tested voltage on the MPU and it was 4.9 also. I assume that’s a little low?

I figured an update would do it. And I figured the board needs to be at least 5v. What is the most common reading for a working driver board? Just 5v?

    Quoted from kevmad:

Very common issue, experienced by all of us at one time or another. Read the following:

Replacing the bridge rectifier and capacitor usually fixes the issue. But be careful when removing them, do not damage the solder pads. You may also need to run jumper wires from the rectifier to the capacitor (it is very easy to damage the solder pads and traces when removing the old components).

I did read this previously. Just wondered what the common +5 is reading on most peoples boards.
