I have a feeling it is going to pick up with a few months having 2 releases each month. There were almost 4 months span between the 2 Batman releases.

Rescue 911 is crying for better DMD animations... Water World would look so nice in full color... Super Mario? Street FIghter? Why no love for Gottliebs?

The colorist needs to own the game in order to properly colorize it. Perhaps you'd like to take a crack at it? Its fullfilling when you can colorize your dream game and the guys from ColorDMD are supportive. In the meantime you can install a ColorDMD running SIGNMA mode in your game. Its not color but you'll have a nice display that will be ready when someone colorizes the game (or you take a crack at it!).

I was just asked about TMNT(DE) over the weekend, here hoping we will see it soon. So this leads me to believe that if my friend bought the one for the other games it will still work but not in color? and then it can be updated down the road? His display is on its way out...

I would hope Dmod will have some Gottlieb’s colored soon.

There are only 25 non-Gottlieb’s left and 15 Gottlieb’s.

They already said that they would likely get the half sized TMNT and Star Trek done this year.

Yes. Purchase the Sigma 128x16 display as it will be a single color of his choosing, thru the menu, until the color ROM is available.

Flipper Football, although I understand it's low priority and I'm not sure how you'd go about fitting a ColorDMD in there...

I feel there's room for improving the animations. Going into screen test and stepping through frame-by-frame, there's a couple animations that aren't "perfect". Off the top of my head;
a) When a player is being knocked down and ball going past them, the animation appears to be missing a frame right before the player makes contact with the ground. The player is falling, but then sort of jolts onto the ground (like the animation skipped a frame, but none are omitted).
b) The same animation as above, once the player is on the ground, the last 3 or 4 frames are basically wasted showing the ball rolling away. The ball is at the bottom-edge of the DMD, so only a handful of pixels change each frame. It make the overall animation look frozen for a brief moment. IMO, this animation could have the last one or two frames removed, allocating the freed space to "fix" the jolt of the player falling.
c) The crowd animation appears to be missing a frame or two as it's not looped perfectly. It's not as profound as described above but there's still a bit of a jolt/snap as it loops.

It would be wonderful to have a replacement for the large 256x64 DMD as they seam to be unobtanium. My unit is still working but is definitely showing it's age. The brightness across the entire DMD is not even, when the display is solid (in test mode) you can see a bit of the Capcom logo burned into it.

I have a FF and feel like there are a lot of them out there with dead DMDs that could be brought back to life if a ColorDMD was an option.
Re: improving animations. ColorDMD can only color what is there - can’t add or delete screens. I’m sure there’s a lot of detail in the screens that we can’t see as it flies by in shades of orange.

I'm sure their editor is as good if not better than the alternate coloring software, and it can insert frames, so Im sure theirs can too. As for gottlieb's Ive offered to help with porting SFII to their platform but got shot down. My source files are there for them to poke around with.

You would need to send your request to info@colordmd. LED or LCD can have a difference so mention which display you have. Originally, it was colorized when the LCD was only out. Videos would be helpful for them too.

I should clarify, Ive only seen the colorization on other machines and in their promotional video on youtube.
This is the sentinel scene in question:

sticks out like a sore thumb, other than skin tones, everything else in the game is pretty great. Sentinel is one of my fave "characters" so its a big deterrent in getting the LCD for the game, that and I prefer LEDs and I dont think xmen supports LED.
