Saw that.....just, couldn't, convince myself.

Quoted from RyanClaytor:Another horsie game...
Find a third pony in Washington state, and I'm on my way... It's only a 58 hour round trip.

'Large storage bin full of pinball machines. Over 100'
And there you have it.
Quoted from DennisDodel:Beware.
That goes without saying. The ad leaves quite a bit to be desired.
Quoted from AlexF:They don't get much earlier than this one.
LED bulbs will make a huge difference.

Just purchased. New LEDs and rubber kit on it's way.
Quoted from AlexF:You bought that? Sweet. A neat piece of pinball history. Congratulations.
I thought so too Alex. I'll be sure to keep you posted on the cleaning/gentle-resto process when I get to that. It's supposed to be constructed from black walnut, so it should look beautiful once cleaned and oiled properly.
Quoted from RyanClaytor:Congrats on the purchase! Please post pix here, or link to a resto thread. Y'know, once your LEDs show up. Should we start brainstorming topper suggestions?
Thanks Ryan! I'll make certain to photo document the process, and post a thread. Looking forward to unpackaging it when it arrives, to see exactly what it is that I bought!
Quoted from RyanClaytor:1932 Gottlieb "Five Star Final" for $400 in Holton, MA:
That is a rather peculiar ball lift handle.
Quoted from RyanClaytor:Alright, who's gonna save this nice-lookin'...
1940 Bally "Glamour" for only $200(!!!)
Thanks for digging these gems out Ryan. Tempting except for the 3700 mile round trip :/ That, and I already have one. Surprisingly addictive game though, and the table artwork/illustrations are exceptionally well done. Mine was considerably more filthy than the one in the listing, but cleaned up nicely.
Quoted from bingopodcast:Interesting that the under-playfield has been rewired, but the transformer looks like it has no input, and wiring is suspect beside it.
That appears to be the identical power supply that my '37 Arlington has. Pre war selenium rectifiers were toast, as I suspect is the case with this machine. It's a 12volt system. Easy and cheap enough to re power.
Quoted from RyanClaytor:...but this time, "VERY VERY RARE" according to the ad's title.
Clearly very rare. It's the perpetual game model. Play all day on one nickel.

Gotta love the caster wheels on the legs! Talk about nudging!
