We played it all night, fun when all 3 wheels move. Glass is off and doing cleaning on it today.

I have a 1950 Williams "Nifty" and a 1946 Exhibit's "Big Hit" (Flipperless) , both now have the wood legs. Nifty has a tilt issue (still working on that one..lol) but both can be had for a bundle price if anyone is interested. PM me. Thanks!

here's a purely mechanical game with some unique features.
1) The ball lift is integrated into the shooter rod mechanism. Pushing the rod lifts a ball to the shooter lane;
2) Shooter rod knob is wooden;
3) A triple chime unit activates when a ball lands in any of three "hurdle" holes. These balls will strike one or two chimes, very melodic;
4) An internal tilt mechanism utilizes a captive ball to shift a "flag" from the twelve o'clock position to the "tilted" ten o'clock position. This "flag" was advertised as visible from a distance of 20 feet by the merchant.
The gameplay invites the player to land balls in the six trap holes. Each of the three top hurdle holes creates a cascading hurdling effect, corresponding to the two trapped balls below. Hurdled ball scores are doubled and are deposited in the cast register. The "hurdle" hole ball is returned to the player for additional shooting.
Since this is the only known example, it's the IPDB game, where additional photos are posted. Hurdles is an extraordinary effort by a short-lived and long-forgotten company, which clamored for attention in the most significant and most innovative year in pinball history: 1934.

Rockola Big Game - $1200

Extremely collectible because Rock-ola, but also it's the first pinball machine with a "synthesized sound". Seems like an odd mech to claim that since we had electric buzzers 2 years earlier. but ah well. This will easily sell for $1k imo

Have the Rocket flyer. The game was $150 new. "Playing field is a panel of natural walnut selected for unusually beautiful grain". Would love to find one on the east coast. "Six payouts possible on one coin". "Operate in 'open' or 'Closed' territory". The payout door is on the side and can be locked. Missing legs and I don't know what else. Would want more pictures of the mechanism if I were a buyer.

Yup, totally up my ally. That's an allwin, a British machine. Not from 1920, from the mid 1950s.
I've owned a handful of allwins before. simple machines, but also simple fun. And purely mechanical!
Some non-original parts on the inside, and one thing you see in a lot of British machines is the wood worms. But if it goes for under $500 that is a fair price for a 24 Cups.
