Quoted from RyanClaytor:Here's a couple project pre-wars:
A 1933 Peo "Mat-Cha-Skor"

A 1934 Bally "Signal"
$600 for the package deal (I believe) in Lancaster, PA:

Says "$600.00 each" in the ad.
Quoted from DennisDodel:Says "$600.00 each" in the ad.
I stand corrected, and so does my post. Pardon my sleepy oversight and thanks for your eagle eye, Dennis.
At first glance, the Signal is missing the shooter guard along the right side where the balls pop up.
The Matchaskor has a rubber bulb that pushes the ball with a puff of air. The bulb is usually trashed.
I have one which I am looking at a way to make it work. No luck yet.
Both playfields look alright.
Just a few things to look for before making an offer.
An atypical ad from Mr. P this morning:

Nice finds, Alex! Thanks for the posts!
These must have been like the Addams Family's of the 1930's...
1932 Genco "Jiggers"
...a good looker, fun gameplay mechanics, and they MUST have produced a TON of 'em. I feel like I see this 30's title more than any other.
Regardless, there's a project listing in Iowa asking $125:

I see Goofy once in awhile and this one reminds me of it both in colors and design. I like it. If it wasn't 7 hours round trip...
The Jiggers is missing the center ramp but looks good. People seemed to like at at the History of Pinball booth this year

All of the manufacturers copied one another in the thirties. Here is my 1935 Chicago Coin Wing Lite, which borrows the graduated skill shot design from its 1932 predecessor, Genco Jiggers. Wing Lite simply changed the art and hole positions, and added the illumination feature (which is cool). Wing Lite also opens the skill shot castings to allow the ball to enter either an open hole or else re-enter the main playfield when holes are already occupied.
It was Bally's Goofy which was the original graduated skill shot design. According to IPDB, Bally sought an injunction in an effort to thwart the copycats.

He didn't have it for very long. I would have had that ramp in by now.

Just purchased. New LEDs and rubber kit on it's way.
Quoted from AlexF:You bought that? Sweet. A neat piece of pinball history. Congratulations.
I thought so too Alex. I'll be sure to keep you posted on the cleaning/gentle-resto process when I get to that. It's supposed to be constructed from black walnut, so it should look beautiful once cleaned and oiled properly.

Congrats on the purchase! Please post pix here, or link to a resto thread. Y'know, once your LEDs show up. Should we start brainstorming topper suggestions?

Thanks Ryan! I'll make certain to photo document the process, and post a thread. Looking forward to unpackaging it when it arrives, to see exactly what it is that I bought!

My girlfriend bought both of them. The guy had what should be all of the parts for Signal (Jr.). We are going to give it a gentle cleaning to see what it looks like when we knock the dirt and dust off of it.
The Matchaskor actually works... I just tested it it takes a decent little hit to get the balls to fire, but they do. I can try to get you some pictures of what it looks like if you think it will help.
Congrats on the pick ups. I know what my Matchaskor looks like but take pics of it. It would be good to see if it looks like mine.
Thanks,
Jeff
If anyone is interested in a Bally Signal Senior and/or a Bally Signal Junior, a seller in Vermont had these games, depicted here, for sale in March 2018. The seller would likely sell the pair for about $1,000 or perhaps sell the games separately. His email is: [email protected]

Thanks for digging these gems out Ryan. Tempting except for the 3700 mile round trip :/ That, and I already have one. Surprisingly addictive game though, and the table artwork/illustrations are exceptionally well done. Mine was considerably more filthy than the one in the listing, but cleaned up nicely.

Anyhow, how about another ad. Just found this:
1937 Genco "Silver Flash" for $525 near Cleveland, OH
Not sure if it's functional but it looks awfully nice.
(UPDATE: Just heard back from the seller, "it is all original, and will need a tune up to work fully. cleaning of contacts, lube. clean moving parts, power supply is not working but ran it 25 years ago with battery charger and worked fine.sold as is." Hope this helps someone here. I'm maxed-out on space (I know I know, you've heard that before), but I won't be going after this one. Good luck!):
