Hmmmm so part of the snake body would light up every time those covered pops light up.....IF the decal was partially transparent...interesting. Maybe replace those 2 lights with green ones.

Quoted from joeraptor2003:That's another great idea Paul. and also doable. We can try it out.
Uhhhhh does that mean if you do it that way I get a discount for the suggestion?
Quoted from tilted81:I was thinking that too.. Even if ya remove that light lamp and just put one of arts 6.3 green led strips there for the shot indicator. Of course if ya were gonna do that it would be better without that hole there too. I like this so much I almost wished it was a plastic ramp so I could light it underneath n make it uniform, or even give it a cool chasing effect.
Well you could always cut the ramp up and add a piece of clear plastic there. Now THAT would be a piece of engineering. But not beyond the means of some on Pinside.
Thanks Gina, I responded to your email that I have a Pro so I'm good. Hopefully it will get here early next week.
Thanks Joe I can wait, my game aint goin nowhere. The body of the snake on the ramp should look interesting on my game cuz I have a red led strip on the ramp.
Quoted from joeraptor2003:Paul..oh man....I have to see that! Please post pics when you can.
Go to page 72, post #3558 of the Met Club, I put up a whole bunch of pictures when I made it. Each ramp is connected to a different Sparky flasher. Green would look cool for the snake ramp.
Looks like mine will take a while, I got ANOTHER email asking me AGAIN which game model I have so they can send the right one. So looks like mine hasn't been sent yet.
Quoted from pinupgirl1975:@MustangPaul, I apologize about sending a second email to you,
Not necessary Gina, just doin your job. I just thought mine was a day or two away, now it will be longer. I'll feel like the last kid on the block to get a new bike.

AND a reach around.
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:Received my "LE" version on Friday. 20 minute install including proper decal alignment with foreceps and fingers. Color of plastic and decal is slighty darker than my snake head due to production differences at the Stern factory, but I don't really care as it still looks like came from the factory this way and WAY better. I had somebody over last night and they could not believe Stern did not make this feature.
My ONLY recommendation is DON'T put the piece of Mylar clear adhesive strip on top of the decal when you produce it. The shine makes it stand out improperly, and you can see the imperfections. Screening the decal in the future would make it look like a NOS plastic. I removed my clear mylar coat strip, cleaned all th glue residue with goo gone (which was a pain in the butt to get all of it iff so there was no smearing, another 20 minutes of careful work) and then installed it. No unusual shine.
Hope ya don't have a problem with ware.
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:As you know, the current version applies the decal from the top not the bottom since this is not screened (although the could be applied via reverse adhesive in the future), so the plastic protects the decal against the ball or pop bumper.
The ball shield on LE prevents wear on top from landing balls. Based on popularity and integration of the design, I would not have a problem buying another of needed, and could even get another screened in a real pinch.
In most cases this is not a real problem, as the decal does not "rub off" which I tested when I cleaned off the glue residue. No loss of color, good quality decal.
Pingrafix did a good job, and one of the better mods I have seen, and I do not use many.
I am probably going to get a "clear" additional plastic to double the strength like the rest on my game, anyway.
Thanks.
OK, well keep us posted on this.
Quoted from marksf123:will this mod be available to purchase online?
Off their web site, sure.
Quoted from pinball_customs:Sent 10 sets to Joe for expo -- sold out instantly lol
More coming!
Looks like your printing money.
