I have the Le model and the mod looks fanatastic. The reason the other plastic is needed on the premium and Le models is there is a clear plastic between the hammer and snake head, it probably was added by stern because a ball can get stuck in that spot, it's simply missing 3 holes for the posts that hold the clear plastic. The plastics line up perfectly, so if your handy or mechanically inclined you can scribe and drill the holes yourself if you can't wait Until the new one arrives.

Just to be clear, the one I have pictured here is my Le , the plastic fits perfectly, I'm not a fan of the guard either, so I left mine in the coin box in case there was a need, but so far I've played 20 games and no issues.

It should be known that the pro model fits the the LE/prem . On the prem /LE There are three extra holes for stand up posts to hold that xtra clear plastic between the hammer and snake head. I have the pro mod in my LE and it works just fine . I've played at least 50 games and have never had a ball trap in that spot. If you want to be creative you can use your existing plastic as a template for the holes and drill your own.
