Uhhhh...you just directed more people to possibly bid against you.

yeah i know. Its an ugly restore and it might possibly be misdirection!!

Is this your's Joe? That is a sweet deal.

    #156 7 years ago

Yes...just trying to get my garage back. The whole story is I bought up two pistol petes and was intending to restore one. The other cabinet got tossed because it was cracked everywhere. This one would be a great project for someone that new how to re laminate the wood, but that's beyond me. Hoping it's gone this weekend....my wife is starting to complain since it's her parking spot it's taking up!

If anyone is looking for parts off one, next week I might think about parting it out...so send me a PM if you are interested. Shipping will cost more than the parts....probably!

Dang, as usual - too far away.

Sold it the yesterday morning....had over 5 buys lined up for it, so glad to see it go to a good home. Just too many projects and that one would of taken too much time for me.

Yes, I noticed that too. Maybe it's the same game as he references the IPDB? Or maybe he's one of those guys that borrow pics? That's never cool but on the upside maybe this one has the correct coin door.

Possibly. But I would think that he would have posted all of his photos in his Craigslist ad if that were the case. I contacted him to see if it is indeed a photo of HIS game.

My first time seeing this topic. Found it while doing a "pre war pinball" search.
Isn't it funny how easy it was to entertain us many years ago?
These machines has to be the most dull and boring ever thing compared to the machines now days, or at least until they came out with the flippers.
I found this one on CL a few months ago and I think it's absolutely beautiful, it's just boring as hell to play LOL.
...And very difficult to win (money) on playing. -gambling device-
This is a 1935-36 O.D. Jennings "Sportsman" pay-out pinball machine.

Here's another item of note, a 1947 Gottlieb "Flying Trapeze".

    cookeville.craigslist.org link

You may recognize the year as a significant one, same year as the invention of the flipper. In fact, this was Gottlieb's final flipperless game, released directly prior to Humpty Dumpty.

A little rough, but I'll bet she'd shine up nicely in the right hands. Also, that backglass looks like it has some incredible backlit elements (this next image is from IPDB, not the seller:

Also, the lowest priced ad I've posted yet.

    Get it!!!

Interesting indeed! Looks like a Pamco Contact homage. Similar layout, stool pigeon tilt, center progressive scoring mechanism, identical Parader/Contact top hole to advance balls down the progression. I like the addition of a second Parader hole midway down the playfield.

Would make a nice companion piece to my Contact Master & Scoregasm Master. Too bad it's in Oregon.
