I stand corrected, and so does my post. Pardon my sleepy oversight and thanks for your eagle eye, Dennis.

At first glance, the Signal is missing the shooter guard along the right side where the balls pop up.
The Matchaskor has a rubber bulb that pushes the ball with a puff of air. The bulb is usually trashed.
I have one which I am looking at a way to make it work. No luck yet.
    Both playfields look alright.
Just a few things to look for before making an offer.

These must have been like the Addams Family's of the 1930's...

    1932 Genco "Jiggers"

...a good looker, fun gameplay mechanics, and they MUST have produced a TON of 'em. I feel like I see this 30's title more than any other.

Regardless, there's a project listing in Iowa asking $125:

All of the manufacturers copied one another in the thirties. Here is my 1935 Chicago Coin Wing Lite, which borrows the graduated skill shot design from its 1932 predecessor, Genco Jiggers. Wing Lite simply changed the art and hole positions, and added the illumination feature (which is cool). Wing Lite also opens the skill shot castings to allow the ball to enter either an open hole or else re-enter the main playfield when holes are already occupied.

It was Bally's Goofy which was the original graduated skill shot design. According to IPDB, Bally sought an injunction in an effort to thwart the copycats.

I thought so too Alex. I'll be sure to keep you posted on the cleaning/gentle-resto process when I get to that. It's supposed to be constructed from black walnut, so it should look beautiful once cleaned and oiled properly.

My girlfriend bought both of them. The guy had what should be all of the parts for Signal (Jr.). We are going to give it a gentle cleaning to see what it looks like when we knock the dirt and dust off of it.

The Matchaskor actually works... I just tested it it takes a decent little hit to get the balls to fire, but they do. I can try to get you some pictures of what it looks like if you think it will help.

    #532 10 months ago

If anyone is interested in a Bally Signal Senior and/or a Bally Signal Junior, a seller in Vermont had these games, depicted here, for sale in March 2018. The seller would likely sell the pair for about $1,000 or perhaps sell the games separately. His email is: john.malcovsky@gmail.com
