I think that maybe the mod would "work" better as a single 3D piece coming off of the back of the head and the remainder being the decal on the ramp

I just installed mine, and I think it's cool. I wouldn't have noticed the flat edge if it wasn't mentioned, and it is certainly nicer to look at than the stock plastic cover on that ramp. It doesn't stand out to me in real life while playing the game, and it adds a cool little tunnel for the ball

I was speaking with Joe at Pinfest and he is always thinking about improving old stuff and making new stuff. He listens to us and I am sure we will see more of the snake mod.

In hindsight..I probably could have just left the mod the way it was... but being me.. i have to always take it to the next level.
It's all good and I think you guys are right now looking back at it.

Frikkin awesome addition to an awesome original.
Cant wait till the updated version of the 3d pieces become available online. Also would like to knowif the tail piece is going to be made. Being in australia id like to get them all at once to save on shipping costs.

The tail piece (think "curved" half U-tunnel tube) could be elevated above the habitrail using modified metal standoffs without interfering with ball momentum, and follow through until the plastic deflector next to the mystery scoop.
Alternatively, you could even replace the entire right habitrail with a tube itself, but this would be a PITA in order to get one designed with the proper curves, and would still slow down the ball badly.
The term, "prototype 3D printer" would work well here with clear polycarbonate medium (expensive).
This would complete this modification properly and give the full snake effect.

I would have like to see some information regarding any progress as PinGraffix only made around 25-30 for immediate sale.
It is not listed on their website either, just the "regular version".
I could prototype a "snake tube" off the habitrail to finish the job, but I would need to see the 3D scales to match the pattern.
Yeah xTBKx is spot on.....people were looking for a more finished product of the 3D version and it's been very quiet since A-town. I bought one of these at the show this year.
I like your idea about the "snake tube".....would the ball ride right through it?! Make it green and this would be a cool add on!!

I'm sorry for not getting back to this sooner thread sooner.
Due to some recent life events, i had to side track the project.
The good news is.. I have redesigned the snake mod based upon last feedback, I am hoping to have a real life prototype posted by Tuesday.
Please keep checking back here.
BLACKKINGHT of course feel free to make your own version if you wish.
Ii know its taken a bit..but as always I assure to will be worth the wait.

Unfortunately no... but i should have some 3D plastics available for EXPO. At this time I am awaiting the prototype to come in which i was promised weeks ago. Matter of fact Im going to call them now.
