If the Stros get through the starter in 6 or less they're gonna put runs up against the yanks pen. Yankees were a few web gems in the outfield away from a much less flattering scoreline. That game set the record for biggest strikeout disparity in post season history with 17 to 2 in favor of Houston.

Aside from the obvious kid multiball magnet that holds the ball in place, the main playfield magnets only have a minor impact on ball travel ... enough to slightly change the trajectory when the magnet is activated, but not remotely close to what you see in the JJP WOZ machine for example (when the witch "throws" the ball around). I asked the same question after a few months of ownership Wow that hasn't been my experience. Ours yanks the ball in crazy directions, usually to our detriment.

No, "ballance" is correct english for me thanks "balance" is an americanised spelling of english. Similar with "colour" ... which you guys spell wrong by skipping the "U" Same with all those words that are meant to have an "s" but you throw a "z" in there instead... like "randomise", correct! What are you talking about? Both Brits and Yanks spell it "balance." You guys are bad enough with the extra letters everywhere, don't start making up new ones!

Can't beat the charm of an old mechanical backbox in a gottleib! I find the running man unit in my 4 Bagger and the mechanical backbox clock that interacts with gameplay and scoring in my Beat The Clock pretty charming. And even the mechanical baseball players in 1948's Williams Yanks backbox, the first flipper pinball game I know of to have any mechanical backbox animation, pretty charming to.

Do the playfield magnets fling the balls around a lot? Yes! They seem to activate mosty in multiballs for me, and they definitely throw surprising yanks on the ball.

Have you checked ipdb.org? There's often numbers there, usually not from documentation but often from people in-the-know. Hhm, looks like there's few numbers from that era, unless your machine is "Yanks" or "Phoenix"... https://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?mfgid=352&sortby=name&searchtype=advanced

No on mine it yanks the ball up before releasing post in star map area. It is on rare occasions it will not hit anything on the way down and go SDTM. Seems like it happens more when it rests on right side of post before release

So the only solution to STDM from the star map is the double flipper action (which cancels you seeing the goals) or nudging it. Damn, that's not a good design. Something is not right. On mine, before the post drops, the magnet yanks the ball up so it doesn't go SDTM. Does your magnet work, bouncing the ball around in the star map area? Are you on the latest firmware? (0.98)

what a dickhole. Johnson is going to tote that bale for as long as needed, he has his eye on the promised trilogy they have dangled in front of him. He is going to make excuses, Disney is the 800 pound gorilla in the room when it comes to future employment. More so if they gobble up Fox Studios too. Edit: If Disney yanks the trilogy away from Johnson, look for his tune to change.

Please allow me to take this opportunity to warn everyone to be *very careful* when futzing with the USB cables on your game. The mini-USB connectors on the IOBoards are somewhat delicate, and it's not difficult to pull one in such a way that it yanks the connector off the PCB, and then no one is happy. (Ask me how I know!) Please be cautious.
