  thanks for the reminder. the keyboard legends are Tolkien Dwarvish. Custom keyboards is another hobby of mine, especially with obscure languages. Bottom left is Futurama "Alienese" and bottom right is Inuktitut (of the Inuit people).[quoted image] No Vulcan or Klingon keyboards? :) That's quite an interesting hobby.

  Delaware Pinball collective is at 14 em's em. I'm going to try and bring a couple more and i believe a Vulcan is coming soon. This will put us at 17. Guessing 17 would be enough? I'm not a TD or board member, but believe there is interest in having a tournament..perhaps as part of a larger event. I like the idea of doing something that has not been attempted in a while. I also like the idea of showing that these ~50 year old games can still kick ass.

  The artwork is excellent....the gameplay is not very remarkable. I wouldn't mind grabbing another one at some point, though. I sold mine too soon (someone offered me silly money for it at the time, so I let it go). Depending on condition, I'd estimate it somewhere around the $800-$1200 range. Vulcan is essentially the same game, and a bit easier to find. The artwork just isn't quite as cool.

  More pinfest goodness. I have a confession. I flipped something I bought at pinfest. You know how the flea market is filled with all sorts of random crap with nothing to do with pinball in it? You wonder... "who would buy this crap?" I always look through those as I love digging for gold and I found this little guy for $1 mixed in with the arcade industry magazines...   Always loved the Avro Vulcan jet in Thunderball. Seems so futuristic even though it’s a 1950s design. Thinking about honoring its place in the film by placing one on the upper loop diverter.   Who did install the precision flippers on SAM machines, where I think the flipper coil strength is not separately adjustable? Are they too strong, especially with the metal bushings? Installed on a Star Trek pro and yes the power was too strong. Warp 10 ramp returns and air balls that would make even a Vulcan question the logic. As mentioned above I left the machined bushings in and that alone has been a worthy upgrade.

  Picked one of these up this week. Pics incoming soon. She needs love. Front cabinet panel was replaced, still needs to be stenciled. My first EM. I guess the price was right. (free) Can't beat that. This is a fun game. I wish Fire Queen was the 4 player version. I try to only own 4 player EMs, but Vulcan isn't terrible looking. Grab a schematic if you don't have one, yet. They are a life saver on these things.

  Tripping the coin switch will advance the play credits. Pushing the credit button does not pull in the start relay. Manually moving the score motor move the assembly 1/3 rotation and stops on its own. 15 amp 25 volt fuse tests good. I appear to be not getting past step 1 not HowardR’s sequence. This Vulcan not at my primary residence and in 2 days I will be leaving as a complete failure…..frustratingly lol.

  Thanks, That’s what I’ve been hearing also but I wondered that same thing like is my 4 player 1975 Fast Draw transformer just like my 1974 single player Top Card transformer? I’ll look at both tomorrow. I have plenty of time before I have to figure it out. here's a sample card whiz, team one, c37: B-3235 vulcan B-3638 I would think 3235 is what you want.

  I have the flyer for the 1-on-1 Vulcan foosball table, which confirms that it was an intentional product from the factory. Vulcan was not an especially strong brand at a time (early 1970s) when there were way too many brands of foosball tables out there. I doubt that I've seen a 1-on-1 foosball outside of a distributor showroom. .................David Marston

  I own a Vulcan in pretty good shape. Paid less than $1,000 and wouldn’t dream of getting anything over $1200 and even that seems greedy on my end. It’s a well balanced game for the era still plan to keep it. Based on condition and auction prices it’s already worth more than what I once paid for a CV.

  The vulcan EM hammered for 3100, my buddy bought that game at a yard sale 4 years ago for $200 and sold it to John for $600...looks like Mr Weeks will do well when this is over... I predict a very long, somewhat extravagant vacation for Cap'n Chris once all the games are paid for and shipped...

  Didn't realize it looks like Fire Queen, IPDB says it's a copy of another GTB game. IPDB says it's a copy of Vulcan, which is the 4 player version of Fire Queen... should have made the link therefore and searched for 'Vulcan'... well done ReadyPO!
