Thanks for posting . Kinda surprised this works on such a angle . It doesn't look quite right, but it covers as much of the ball path as you need to do the job, and the rebound force that would produce a bounce out is pretty low velocity. Others may have better approaches, but this was easy to install and it's lasted!

I don’t quite understand how the 3 launch points work but that is awesome!! Its so simple but works great. There is a cut out just bigger than the ball on rail and two small bends to get the ball to jump over the hole. The velocity determines everything. Very soft and it will fall into hole, moderate it passes hole but comes back and falls in. Eliminates adding a kicker and switch to do same thing I wanted and its error free. The solenoid sleeve is in poor condition. Perhaps the plunger is dragging? Given the poor condition of the sleeve and the look of the coil, I think I'll replace the assembly and see if that solves the problem. That area looks a little barren (mostly due to art choices out of Spooky's control) and it wouldn't hurt to take a little velocity off the ball anyway when feeding the upper flipper. Spinner would give that shot more of a unique feel/purpose. Might not be room to mount one there anyway, and of course the game is done & shipped. Just armchair designing. (sorry Scott!)

Too cool. Wonder who sells replacement balls. From an interview with Harry Williams on April 2, 1979, pinball historian Russ Jensen later wrote that Harry stated he "made one mistake in the design of that game, that of putting a "slope" to its playfield (instead of being perfectly vertical) because, [Harry] said, it made it more difficult for the player to shoot the ball with any velocity." Glad that didn't deter him after he struck out on his own. Gut feeling tells me he has a bright future in pinball.
