Glad i got rid of that game...... Post #128 in topic

Ultraman CE - The theme is cool until you get tired of the voice actor and those three drop targets. Playfield just didn't flow the way I had hoped. Aladdin's Castle - I didn't have the patience to learn EM troubleshooting. Also, I'm not a fan of flaking paint that contains lead. I can't stand games with double-flippers. Gottlieb Amazing Spiderman - Another slow game with a double-flipper.

Replaced the snot guard on my ultraman, So loosen the 2 screws on the second playfield helps a little. I used a soldering iron to also make the holes a bit larger because there was not way I was getting this to fit over the little bolt holes. I even left the back left upper nut off, not a chance I was getting that back on. I'm thinking if I do this again I may find a 2mm x 2mm x length of the guard to add some strength.

I think that’s the shaker motor if it’s sol 23, Spookys manual says knocker is sol 23 and shaker is sol 22 but it’s the other way around. I also had another one go for the scoop, this one was found while testing on a bench. We then traced all the wiring and I checked with an ultraman owner and his shaker is sol 23 as well. Check the wiring, make sure wires are punched in the connectors all the way! [att=8115647,3847254 caption=""][att=8115647,3847253 caption=""]

I know I'm fairly new to this hobby but I'm enjoying my Ultraman a lot. How common is it for an employee like @m4tt from a company to be on a site and interact and problem solve issues with their pins? Does Stern, JJP etc do the same? There are three other scoop deflectors on the left side of the PF. Swap one out for the main scoop and see if your problem with scoop shots goes away...I have been lucky with my Ultraman. It does not reject much at all. ...my TNA scoop, though. Good luck getting that one to swallow a ball!

It's a specific screen and controller board, there are also some brackets you need to 3D print I have the bridge and train/billboard mods from VIMTOMAN, but I don't think he sells them anymore. I haven't read any of the other responses yet but my guess is the general consensus is "You'd be out of your mind." Scoobys will be going for $5-6k like countless spookys before it. SD is just a little bit more popular theme than Ultraman or America's Most Haunted, can see the prices settling out in the low to mid $7k range eventually. They obviously knew there would be cash coming back their way in a trade which can be used to an advantage if someone was really hot for an AF.

The fixed aspect ratio within the 4:3 UI monitor looks good - but am I crazy…I swear the full screen 16:9 clips now look stretched horizontally, and before I think they were just cropped. Am I seeing things, or did this change? Like on the Ball Save screen, Ultraman looks stretched/fat. I don’t think it was like that in 1.13. Did correcting the UI footage also stretch out the full screen footage?

People are delusional. They also didn’t sell too many so there’s not a massive supply. You won’t see the desperation settle in like people who are trying to unload foo fighter or GNR. The $9k ads for the DE’s NIB. Can’t be too many of those right? What would a reasonable price be if you wanted one NIB? I don’t, maybe $7,500 ish I see used for $7k and $6500 They probably get down to $5k range like Ultraman. Although more of those?

I need to move something to make room for my new EHOH & something else for my upcoming Pulp Fiction. I kinda don’t wanna sell any more B/W 90s games…so UM seems like a logical choice, but I still legit love playing it & wanna keep it thru final code. I would drop RFM and/or NGG in a hot minute before Ultraman.

Traded Flash Gordon away toward an Ultraman. I'll miss Flash, absolutely the hardest pinball machine I've ever played. I only did the 5x Bonus collect w/ 2/3x running twice in the 10 months I owned it. Shortest ball times of any Solid State ever, the bottom playfield was designed by Satan himself. 2nd to only Centaur for the best pinball of the 80s imo.

Scooby Snack Multi (should be called SNACK FRENZY) That name just isn't working for me, but probably because I can only hear in my head the current callout when you activate it, ha. I need to pay more attention to how many Scooby Snacks I'm getting. I don't recall that being displayed at end of game. Maybe there should be a "top score" list for Scooby snacks collected? Though I'd want that for Ultraman's Spacium too. Ha.

how are ya'll finding this game after the new code updates? 6k for a new CE seems like a steal The game is awesome, love it! I got mine last October NIB for $6k from Nitro, totally a steal. But also bad because it undervalues Spooky games....As I've posted before, as someone that has never watched Ultraman, or owned a Spooky game, I have zero regrets. The chances of it leaving my collection is slim to none.

I just emailed Rocket City the other day about this and got the following response: "Hey Jon, I don't have a button for Ultraman yet but I can put it on my long term to-do list. I'll reach out when I get to it! Thanks for the inquiry. Andy" If you're interested as well, maybe send them an email to let them know. ;)

Yeah, the screen tearing in my Ultraman is ROUGH, even after 1.13 code update. If might not be something that others really notice, but it’s really bad and rather jarring imo. I adore this pin and updates, but the screen tearing feels less than premium and I’d give anything for them to fix it with a patch and vsync it.
