  Casinos didn't get away from coins or tokens because of spending. With the proliferation of bright LED lights on pens, key chains, etc. It was found you could shine it up where the coins or tokens dropped and mess with the optos counting and they'd keep dispensing until empty.   That’s sad. I know this plant pretty well. Friend’s parents growing up worked there/folks I know growing up work there. I used to get stoned and play pinball all hours of the night at The Detroiter truck stop across the street when I was in high school. Best pinball selection downriver from about 92-96.

  No game yet. There's still 2 hours of my delivery window remaining (2-6 CST) tho. According to tracking info I'm stop #10 so odds are I'm the last delivery of the day. The suspense is killing me. It was that way last Friday for my AFMr LE, it was on the truck bouncing all around Denver and I was the last stop. I was on pins and needles all day, but it was a heck of a weekend! Great game!

  So many nice machines. I was thinking when I posted about Blackwater 100, I didn't do it justice. A very unique game from Nordman. A ton of fun. There aren't a lot of pics on here and I thought maybe some might have not seen one before. It's better in 3-D. Great 6803 machine. Probably the best with Atlantis and Truck stop. That left apron flipper is a bitch to fix if not 100%

  I think you're right synper2099 the interface board looks like it was used in Truck Stop too. The manual says the parts number is C-12417.

  I believe that you are actually trying to track down a Williams board... You have the sound board, just missing the interface board, correct? Does anyone know if that interface board was used on other LATE 80's games (Truck Stop?) perhaps. I just looked this up and that interface board is in the Truck Stop manual as well.

  It is heavy that's for sure. Hoping to restore it someday. I had more people stop and look at it, in the back of my truck, as I had to go to Chattanooga's North Shore side to pick up some stuff from my in-laws house. I was late for the pinball's also, so that is why the kiddie ride came home.

  You guys are ruining it!! You're not supposed to say you just spoke to him and give real updates in the thread!! How can the legend grow!! I heard flank broke a toe lifting a burning car off a little girl and her family on the side of the road by the Brat Stop. Saved their life and get this.....then bought them dinner at the Stop while waiting for a tow truck teaching the kids how to play AC/DC Pro Pinball by the slots. Damn hero in my book.   Tax be pretty cheap. Only about 100. So between my gas and tax that equals the shipping kind of. It's just the time but if the owner would meet my part way would be awesome. I got my embryon the same way. Drove about 4 hours to a random truck stop and literally slid the tarped game from one pick up to another in the pissing rain site unseen.

  Question for Truck Stop owners. Can you easily make the left and right orbits from the lower flippers - specifically the "C" and "Y" ramps. I can barely make it and most times reaches peak only to roll back and out the ramp entrances instead of all the way around. Is it supposed to be a tough shot?   Yeah, I know of a 24/7 truck stop not too far away that runs three pins 24/7, as well as a dozen or so arcade games. I suppose it wears out the capacitors quicker, as those are rated for life when being used and not off, but realistically it shouldn't be a big deal. That truck stop seems to always have the games in great condition too. (...and Vid says the same thing about capacitors as I type, hooray!)

  I just did a Truck Stop with Comet Leds ... you'll get terrible flickering from the 6803 boards. Luckily, Hans at Seigecraft has developed Led adaptor boards for the 6803 boards. I don't think they are up on his website yet. Hit him up at http://siegecraft.us Or maybe you could try non-flickering leds. I haven't tried them so I can't comment if they work or not. rd

  Mine just arrived today from Germany. Arrived in excellent condition. See pics of test fitting. I've got a bit of work to do before installing it. Sure looks like it fits perfectly. I painted all my circular key lines last week (trust me Truck stop has a few of those!). Added all my LED's today. Did some minor Kwikwood repairs as well. A little more paint touch ups and rebuilding 2 sets of flippers and I'll be ready to install the protector. I'll report back when completed. [att=3401643,803024 caption=""]
