    We used to have pinballs in an unattended truck stop laundromat. Fish tales and afm. 5 feet from the door. 24/7 unattended. I Slept like a baby lol. They did well. Back in early 2000,s . Now I wouldnt dare. With craigslist etc. The game could be listed for sale before its even stolen to see the money potential. People are desperate. They will break into live electric boxes risking death to steal copper for resale. Sadly, I see this becoming more common in the future.

    Elon continues to say they are limiting lines of code for this exact reason , there is actually very few lines of code in the program ..it vision based . driving with the FSD on is still many time better than a average human driver .. and thats a fact son I saw a YouTube video of FSD completely flummoxed by a picture of a stop sign on a truck. That right there was enough to convince me the edge cases are limitless and will never be solved. FSD is a pipe dream.

    How many key cars have remote start standard? That's my point. My truck has key start with remote start. My car has key fob no remote start :thinking: But i like that i can unlock and open my door or trunk with fob in my pocket. i consider that a plus. One of the fobs is showing low battery when i start car. At least it tells me when its low. When i stop i can just hit the off button too. No need to put it in park it just does it automatically. I like that too lol.

    We've had a big surge in Gottlieb titles registered for Free Play, plus some Bally titles that I really want to spend more time on. We still need more Jim Patla designs, and you get 3 Bonus Points for any game he designed. .................David Marston I’ll see if Truck Stop can make it!     Truck Stop was booting. It would turn on and show garbage rapidly scrolling along the display. After a few minutes it would suddenly stop, all the digits would lock on and then the game would fully boot. Played it for a few days just fine using this method Now I cleaned the acid damage up, removed the battery and it seems stuck on the garbage. It won’t fully boot anymore.     I’m very ready to let machines do the driving. It will greatly reduce accidents. Thats irrefutable. It is a separate issue though. Gas cars could just as easily be full self driving. As a software guy...no fucking way. As one example: I saw a video of a "full self driving" Tesla utterly confused because a box truck had a picture of a stop sign on it. The edge cases like this are limitless. People will die.

    Does anyone have a fuse chart for Truck Stop? Just picked one up that boots and plays but has acid damage on the MPU and no displays, tested with a second display and no dice, so thinking maybe it’s a blow fuse

    Rain has never stopped me from drinking in the Allentown parking lot!     So my Transporter has a flipper button substituted for a start button. But my Atlantis has the proper button which is like all the Sys11 start buttons. See pics [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image] Odd note: Transport is the only Bally system 11 that used a flipper start button. The game is low production and reused remaining cabinetry from Truck Stop. All other Bally/Williams system 11 games from this era would use the common start button that Williams employed into their cabinetry.

    Have an issue with Truck Stop when it boots up, it gives an error stating "right button" then clears itself. The right button tested good but was replaced anyway. This issue doesn't happen every time. It seems to happen 2 or 3 times in a row when booting but then may not happen for another 25 power ups. Any thoughts?

    Anyone remember Skelly Truck Stops? They were all along the interstates in the late 1960’s. My dad would stop at these during family vacation road trips. Kind of a fuzzy memory for me.     Bingo, same place. Yeah it was awesome going there and picking up a dozen Krispy Kreme when the hot light was on. Gave me a pint of milk and that dozen would get slammed so quick. Now I'm basically going to Marvin's and Free Play. I need to hit up that place in Chesterfield for their pins and then there's a couple places in Lansing we need to hit up as well. As a teen I played at The Detroiter truck stop off of 75 in Woodhaven. I'm Downriver :)

    Today I rolled over my Truck Stop. I got the crazy 5M jackpot, which gave me two replay levels at once -- later at 6.5M I should have gotten a triple-replay award according to the factory-standard attract mode announcement-- but I cannot remember a triple-knock). So all I have in the end is 3M and I didn't make it into the High Scores!?! Is this really it for the 6803 basic operating system?

    What I don't get in this 4+yrs old post is this: the service bulletin tells us to use some Williams parts (cap, EOS switch) on the Bally linear flipper mechanism and these are the upper mechs in Truck Stop. Aiming at I and T in C-I-T-Y and not C and Y. How this is going to solve a weak lower flipper problem (Williams mechanisms with strong FL-11629 coils) is incomprehensible to me.

    I confess I love finding pinball in new places. After a 12 hour day of driving I stopped by a 24-hour mini mart/truck stop and walked in to find a beautiful Jurassic park premium pinball machine. If I ever run across games like these, I will always play a few games, if they are well maintained. I love this this hobby!

    I had some leftover 2SMD bulbs that I tried. But after I resurrected this thread, I spoke the folks at Comet- they assured me that non-ghosting bulbs will take care of this problem, so I just ordered a bunch. I can confirm this after working on a Bally BB Truck Stop last year.

    Fish Tales is a toxic plague sent from pinball hell. It's a total piece of trash that has about the same amount of corn ball crap in it as Rescue 911 pinball. Why don't people love corny ass Recue 911 or corny ass Truck Stop?... Just buy one of those corny terds and save yourself 3-4 grand.
