  Good morning, In SAM machines, there is an aux input connector on the power board. Access to this connector is through the data bus used to control inserts and coils. I believe it's also present on Whitestar I would be interested to know which games, if any, make use of that connector. My Tron does not for ex (the LE does use the aux output, but not the input as far as I know) Thanks !

  Elvira has had its day in the sunshine but let's be real here, for not much more you can get a Godfather LE! I have personally never seen the appeal of Stern's Elvira at the asking prices (I'm sure it's good, just not for me). I see your point, Godfather LE comes with shaker and invisible glass included (correct). However Tron pro is pushing $10k so there’s got to be something in a certain pin besides it’s weight or shot count.

  yup, still not enough, lol. I am not selling but if the right offer comes along you never know. lol I will never be able to replace it. I saw his Tron LE, it's in perfect shape. Like, perfect - the playfield and ramps are immaculate. Tron is one of those games that has more than kept its value anyway, and one of those games you can have instant fun with.

  My playfield control number doesn’t match my LE number. I have LE 336, but a sticker on the bottom side in the lower left says “TRON PREMIUM 337” and the (what I assume is from quality control) sticker on the trough edge of the playfield says 401 of 400.   So Stern's licensing director Jody Dankberg spent the entire FF LE debut stream wearing a G1 Transformers helmet (Jack said Shockwave I think).   Anyone would have the schematics for the Tron PRO/LE power board (and CPU while we're at it) ? My interceptor board is running into issues and I can't figure out why. I based the design off the Shrek/Indiana Jones manual, which are complete with schematics, but maybe there's a small difference on Tron which would account for the difference Thanks

  This is actually the only part I don't have a problem with. The pedestal that dumb ass LEs are put on is recockulus. We all know they aren't worth anything; it''s a status symbol....and you gotta pay for status. I had a huge friend crowd over last weekend. Non pinheads. All gasping over an Iron Man.   FWIW, i think pro/premium/LE/CE/SLE is the way to go. If you split them out further, then you need to do vault editions (AC/DC, IM, SM) multiple pro editions (tron), multiple premium (MET, AC/DC), and multiple LE (WOZ/HOBBIT/AVengers/XMLE/TF). It would just get way to confusing and really doesn’t add much, other than bragging rights.

  Yeah but none of those games were anywhere close to $20k new, that's the issue. All of those games were under $10k new. Who cares what they cost new? If you wanna buy a Tron LE now you are paying 20k for one these days Will Bond 60 go up in value? Probably a little but not much. So if you buy pins as investments, this probably isn't a good one.

FYI - you are not looking for EL (Electro Luminescent) Wire Ramp Lighting (single colors only) Eli's were RGB Fiber Optic Ramp Lighting. I made a few EL Wire Lighting Kits before Eli came out with his that were almost an exact match to the Factory TRON-LE Fiber Optic Ramp Lighting (some say better than factory ;-})

  Beautiful game room, nice collection. Needs a Tron topper upgrade. ;) My view is these super LE versions aren't for me. Never were, never will be, I don't have the cash or the mentality. But if do you have the cash there are sure dumber ways to spend it than on a hobby you enjoy. That goes double for those who enjoy sharing it, I always respect that. At the very least it's properly rare, and I know for some that holds real value.

  So this guy has: -Tron LE -MBR LE -Ghostbusters LE -TSPP -Elivra and the Party Monsters (which BTW has clown puke LEDs in the backglass just like the Creature) -Metallica (either Prem or LE, probably LE based on this guy's other games) That's a LOT of money to drop in the span of 1-2 years.   MM and MMr are great, owned both over the years. But since you like science fiction and flow, STLE is beautiful and fun to mod. I'm having a blast with Tron Pro right now, not super deep, but very fast. Heighway Alien LE is great, if you don't mind a little tinkering. Overall, AFM may be a good fit for your tastes and one will come along, definitely worth owning. I preferred my original over the remake in this case, but both are great.

  I made a trip to Next Level in Portland a few years ago to play a Tron Pro, was thinking about the LE when they were cheaper. My impression on location wasn't great, so I passed. Now in the home, even without it fully modded, it is excellent. Light and sound is intrinsic to this game, so the anemic location game really didn't do it justice. It is reminding me of some other fast flow games like IMDN or AFM. Can't wait to get it up to speed with the sound and lights!

  This thread is reminding me of the Alien Heighway thread, where there was no way a remake would happen! So I bought an LE late run, no regrets as I prefer it. But there was a definite risk at that time that Pinball Brothers would duplicate the game down to every detail and make it better. I'm gonna get a Pro most likely, and still hope there is a vault with the lcd screen, an updated version. The Virtual Pin Tron is really cool with the large screen on the backglass showing scenes from the movie.
