Elvira is a masterpiece in terms of code - the theme is just so well integrated, and it really feels like you are “playing” the old Movie Macabre show. The layout is not innovative really, but I swear I don’t even notice. Deadpool has a pretty interesting layout; reminds me of LOTR, and theme integration is also really good. The three musketeers of pure fun. [att=6952096,2908489 caption=""]

Now I remember that the photo of the 10k stepper posted above (where the bell was mounted on the coil bracket) came from a 49 Three Musketeers. And so perhaps these were used on some machines from 49 (and maybe earlier) to 52 (and maybe into 53?), but not others.

I understand Three Musketeers is a really good game from this designer. I know someone who has the game and also a friend who plays it when he's visiting there and speaks highly of it as well. I don't like to say too much about a game until I actually play it but you can almost tell from looking at pictures of the playfield on the IPDB, that it does have the look of a good game. And I'm not big on reverse flipper games but there are some great titles from my experiences on them so far.

When it gets to be around 9 o'clock and the teenagers that aren't really dressed up start coming around, I always dump extra in their bags. It's like protection money paid to the mafia. See now that's where I'm asking for it. I keep a special stash of "no costume candy". It's my entertainment for the night to watch those in horror as I hand a monster Three Musketeers bar to one kid, then give them a teensy little turd of a candy for their lack of effort. Boo ha ha!!!
