  Embryon is a great game. Fantastic use of a widebody, original bumper layout. Great PF artwork and theme. I have one at home sheltered for winter... not mine... lucky me. The game is slow - which is not a bad thing - as long as you resist the temptation to hit the central captive ball(s). Well, it's probably good policy to hit it once during the first ball, so that the standup targets are lit (and thus increase bonus). After that, avoid it, and go for bonus multiplier and drop targets.

  I'm one of the people who love what JJP is doing, but just can't get into the WOZ theme. The music and callouts especially, just don't do it for me. Tell you what, after seeing the most recent updates I found myself at least waffling a little bit. I doubt I'll pick one up, but the temptation is there and it wasn't before.

  From what I see from the pictures they look pretty solid, but what do they look like under the hood? Take a stab at offering $4.5k and see how motivated the seller is. Based strictly on the low-res pictures you've provided though, I personally would be feeling temptation. Question is: Do you have an extra $5k to roll the dice on? ;-)

  I would've easily said Surf Champ before my last visit to PAPA. I had a long session on Big Brave there, and refused to walk away before I rolled it.   Well the targets should certainly physically be there. But the question is whether you want ramp shots (behind the targets) to score, because the center ramp is very easy to hit and gives a lot of points. I cut the wire to my ramp switch and know others who have done the same. It makes the game a lot more balanced and interesting and removes all temptation to loop the ramp endlessly. :)

  Congrats on the wife going all-in. It is nice to have a spouse on board with your craziness. Is the LOTR the one on the Chattanooga CL? If so, thank you for buying it. I've been debating it for a little bit, but don't have the money, and now the temptation will be gone. And if you ever get bored with it, let me know. (I doubt it will happen, but you never know.) I'm in Hixson and my sister is in Knoxville with her new baby, so we're up there a lot these days. Glad to see more pins showing up in Tennessee!

  GLWS. I really hope that someone repo's these playfields as it seems all Data East Batmans need one. It's also a fairly enjoyable pin if you increase the pitch and avoid the temptation of hitting the ramp repeatedly. Trying to go for the 15 million jackpot is rewarding if you get to it. Great music track too.

  Best total package pin ever built. My favorite game and my most played. Avoid the temptation to rake the play field past 6.5 degrees. Ritchie knew what he was doing and the game plays faster at its factory slope. Great game and always a challenge. Enjoy it!

  How many small scratches warrant a new ball... is it worth it to get a polisher/tumbler or just get new balls? Also how do you find the size of the replacement ball? I don't see it in the manual or anywhere online... (for a ToM). Thanks again for all your input and RESISTING the temptation and urge to place you mind in the gutter!

  I was supposed to have my TAF and TOM delivered today but the damn trucking company now can't deliver til monday! It's probably better for me though because my first anniversary is this weekend and my wife would not be too happy if I spent it with my 2 new pins instead of her :) And the temptation would have been too strong to resist! I have all my current pins working great and I have nothing to fix....til Monday now!

  If you are bringing games to a show, try to remember that a lot of people don't like LEDs and/or get headaches from them. Try to resist the temptation to load your games with LEDs for the show. I know LEDs are widely accepted here, but in real life at shows there are a lot of people who won't play games that are blindingly loaded with LEDs. Fortunately most or all certified tournaments do not allow any LEDs in the games that did not come from the factory, so no one is forced to play games that have LEDs.

  Lower PF window on this one is clear as can be. Build date = 7/25/12 Hey man, mind taking a pic? One thing that's keeping me from taking a shot at a NIB AC/DC vs. a HUO one down the road is not knowing what type of window will be in that box. If they're making clear ones now, that ups my temptation. I wonder if all newly built ones are clear now...hmmmm.

  I've come to the point where I think if I sell MM it will be because i am either done with the hobby or desperate for money. I'm not anywhere near either one of those scenarios right now but stuff happens and I change my mind quite a bit! Auction was up to $9K last i checked. It's funny, I look at it as an opportunity as way to expand the collection, considering 10k+ could get me 4 or 5 more DMD games or a ton of older games. However, temptation is low since I am way outta room!

  I resist the temptation to talk about pins at work for the most part. I think about them way too much, so thats whats on my mind in casual conversation. BUT, i realize people could get annoyed with me talking about it all the time. I did get a couple people interested enough to stop by the http://www.atlantapinswap.com tomorrow, so i think i did my part of spreading the word for the week.

  Hold the right flipper button down at launch, when it hits the 'jukebox' hole, it will promptly eject and rocket to the right around the loop. Flip to one of the ramps to get the super skill shot. It's pretty dangerous, but I can't resist the temptation every time.
