Pinball machines revolve around themes, we all know this, if you take an expert on storm chasing and show them whirlwind, they’ll have a great time. If I do buy a kit, applejuice will get my money. I agree with this, applejuice’s “storm blasters” seems like more of the 2.0 whirlwind. Thing is, they could have kept the storm theme while still introducing a lot of extra fluff, had they written their story correctly. A massive storm of the century is blasting across the states. Guy in van is chasing it eastward, has crazy invention in back of van that can neuter the storm. The 8 modes are written around various post-storm disasters van-guy comes across while chasing. Main multiball can be about a sudden derecho popup storm occurring. Wiz mode is catching and killing the big storm.

There is no motorized head. At this point int he pinball game, I'll settle for a playfield that doesn't shed clearcoat or dimple like it went through a Texas hail storm. The cost for a motorized head and all of the safety mechs would just be crazy prohibitive. With that said, I'm all about a campy title and this being something different from the norm. Assuming they keep the pricing reasonable, I'll be in just for the craziness of it all......lol
