This installs in a couple minutes. You could also just plug the Fosi into the back box outlet. Can’t get more plug and play than that. It would always be powered on, but I unplug my Rush pin after every use. I lost some electronics in a storm and don’t want to risk it. I also like the amp close to the coin door for easy to reach adjustments.

Im surprised how fast the s&p went from 4600 to 5200. 2 yr bond yield vs 10yr is still inverted, what is that now 2 years steady? Also this reporting quarter, alot of companies are beating earnings but the ones that are beating earnings and forecasting conservative estimates for the next quarter and getting absolutely destroyed. One fatality in Lake Oswego by falling tree from report i saw on CNN. Salem Oregon went thru similar in Feb 2021 when an ice storm hit the community.

Nova Scotia is looking at 3 days of outages due to storms. Not sure I'd want an ev with this and potential flooding causing unstoppable fires. I'd rather have a car that I kept topped off at home prior to the storm than an ICE with half a tank, less range and no gas stations open.

Yeah, with all the sonar and other stuff, I find it really questionably how they never say if the water there, and the water in the garden shaft is salt water or fresh water... I was waiting for the same thing (are they going to suggest it's fresh water?). Heck, they could have just tested the water in the garden shaft before they drained it. It's got to be fresh water from the rain, I doubt the level of the ocean water increases much even with a whopper rain storm.

It was a done deal with Meyer putting a down payment on a home here. Shit hit the fan, he bailed and went to OSU.

I had four sump pumps in my basement in Illinois, two of which discharged into the sewage system. They couldn't keep up with the incoming rain, no matter what I did. My house was at the end of a street, and happened to be at the lowest point, so it was pretty much hopeless during a monsoon storm. Now, I reside 5000 feet above sea level, and can actually sleep at night whenever the big storm hits. Dry as a bone in the game room...woo hoo! Sometimes I wonder if water does more damage than fire.

A water-powered back-up sump pump is absolutely necessary if you want to protect your finished basement. When power goes out during a storm or when the primary pump fails, it will be the only protection for your basement.
