    Im not saying I wouldn’t love that but the mechanics in a single level aren’t cheaper than a multilevel game and these two got two of Sterns biggest IPs. Beatles gold is a steal right now and a great game. Yeah Beatles is pretty good but I wouldn’t buy the ones still gathering dust at Distros from release. Main reason is many of the playfields kinda sucked. That’s when Stern were having issues in that dept. The dings on those efforts are extraordinary.

    The big question is. How much Disney will charge for a renewal license? Or did that time window expired and stern has to get a new license. Unfortunately most people on here are not educated on this side of a business. Stern found a way to get Bond, Avengers, Beatles and other numerous rock bands, Godzilla, Jurassic Park, etc. They also once had Tron. I assume they know how licensing works and that it's been lucrative enough for those companies in the past.

    I hate Whoa Nellie because it probably poisoned Stern on the idea of simpler single level gameplay for years. Between the art, sounds, and meh playfield design...no surprise that layout didn't sell too many copies. Beatles though? Excellent. Next Elwin as a single level? I'm super hyped

    I would have been very happy to see what Elwin would have changed about a classic Stern like a Star Gazer, Quick Silver, Dragon Fist, etc But an all new game? Be still my beating heart...Just wish I could afford one! Hopefully a few end up on location near me. I love single level and hope Stern tries out more of them. The Beatles is easily among my most favorite Spike 2 games.

    Because maybe Keith wants to make one? And honestly if you where Stern would you say no? They did with Beatles… street level or not make it super special in collectors eyes and it will sell. Stern have said even Beatles sold well so I guess it makes sense to Stern. Beatles didn’t have a full featured modern version & a street level version. It had one design, by one designer. Stern is not going to have 2 designers do 2 variations of the same theme. Fake news.

    I don't think there will be a different game, but if there was it makes the most sense to re-do an old classic Stern like Quick Silver similar to Beatles. They could even reuse a lot of the same rules Also slapping a James Bond coat of paint on the Jack Danger JP home pin makes more sense. But I think none of that happens. I think they just have a SLE of the game, maybe with some real gold trim and a Goldfinger art package.

Short of the Avengers and the Transformers, I enjoy all other games he has designed since LOTR (Batman, Beatles, Deadpool and Heavy Metal) for Stern and all the games he took part of at Williams short of RFM.     Ugh, I just got a 1st run Beatles gold for my mom. I want an online kit on it but don't want to mess up the apron art and also it'll be going on location eventually and it will have a bill acceptor on it so the bill acceptor area doesn't really help... Yeah and the red color is hideous with the Beatles color palette. I was going to move mine to the coin door but I haven’t been able to source the original apron art and Stern didn’t include it.

    NoQuarters and I are in on this for an SLE. I doubt it , unless you got on a list back in 1982. Most distributors have theirs allocated...     I believe Stern would send you one free, but I can't say 100%. I mean, they are part of the set and they have them, and purposefully left them off the insider games. So, they are there at the factory, unless they tossed them. I tried to get the one for my Beatles and Stern told me to talk to my dealer.

    My only other thought is that the cost of the license for TS4 was costly per unit and JJP decided there would be no money made if they produced Standards? I know the Beatles franchise rights cost a pretty penny and that is why Stern had to bend people over with fake trim levels-same thing for TS4?

    Help needed... i just installed the 1.20 update on my Beatles gold machine. It seemed to go well but now the LCD is in a loop where is shows the Stern logo, does a slight audio pop and reads "Game Code Update Resuming" The USB with the new code is still in the CPU as it never gave the update complete message. it has been doing it too long and from what i see on the update videos this is not correct. Anyone experience this? do i just turn it off and try again or ????
