    I think as long as Stern continues making movie, comic book, and music themed pinball machines, there won't be any re-makes or re-imagined classic Sterns. I would love to play the Haggis Fathom machine one day. Stern Beatles and Spooky Total Nuclear Annihilation are on my short list of pins I hope to be able to purchase eventually.

    Sounds like you have plenty of money, so it doesn't really matter. You will want more pinball machines. I would just buy the first one from your list that you come across and can actually purchase....competition is real. Pinball machines at good prices do not last long. Not on your list, but super fun, is Stern Star Trek. I also really enjoy the Stern Beatles machine.

    Of course, you could make sure you no longer patronize these distributors if you want to send them a message. Thats my angle, just speak with your wallet if you don't like those business practices. I do think that Stern does take issue at some point, I remember my local distro mentioning it. Perhaps that is more for Pro and Premium. Of course Beatles was a total one off with the bundles. All games were "call for price."

    The Bond 60th art is what it is. How else would you figure you are going to get ALL the Bond assets represented? Not GB style, or BM66 or Elvira 40th or anything else. I think it’s great art as a “collector” for all the movies. If Stern wanted to appeal to the player crowd only they would have made an unlimited amount of these and priced it like what a Gold Beatles cost today Simple as that. The collector/players are gonna love this game, regardless of pricing

    I had the same freeze problem with a brand new Mando a year ago. Mine was a bad CPU board, so stern eventually sent me a new one. I tried changing out a similar CPU board from Beatles gold to Mando and it worked fine, so that’s how we knew it was a bad CPU board. Stern was very helpful and supportive. Handled it all by emailing their support team. Good luck. JP premium is the best machine out there IMO. If I could only keep one, JP would be it!!

    What?! This is all wrong! A Galaxy wouldn’t really work in a Sega cabinet and a Modern Stern shouldn’t fit a Seawitch... your buddy is gonna have a tough time adjusting everything to fit properly I think you underestimate this community. Galaxy guy likes the idea of building a pin from free parts. Seawitch guy wants to build a Seawitch in the style of a Stern Beatles. You just make it work.

    We have a Beatles that lost sound as well. Found a cracked solder joint on one resistor in the audio circuit, then noticed the whole circuit board was slightly warped. Replaced the resistor and fortunately it has been fine since. Stern only offered to sell a refurb CPU, with no ETA on that.

    If the current rumor is true for Stern's 2023 cornerstones (Venom and Foo Fighters), I'd say those qualify as less known/desirable themes and the odds for a boutique title this year is higher. You know what that means. For comparison, the last boutique game was The Beatles, which came out in 2018. The only cornerstones that year were Iron Maiden and Deadpool. Sound logic or is this a stretch?

    Anyone know the names of any prior games that use optical spinners? I think Zeppelin premium does when the stage comes up but I was looking for some others. Out of Stern? The Beatles has two, though with a different design (I think LZ premium uses this design). James Bond Gomez version (exact same spinner, even the same decal) Some smaller company made one in the 80s I believe. Maybe another one or two. There are also hall effect spinners on a handful of games.

    How would people have reacted if this was a Quicksilver like reimagining similar to Beatles One of the huge whiner talking points on beatles was that it’s “only a reskin!” So it would be dozens of pages of that.     Assuming this game with ALL of the Bonds and the Beatles are by far the most expensive themes ever, I wonder what it comes down to on a per game basis? Stern and the distributors are certainly making their share here, but how much is the licensor raking in? I assume it is somewhere between a big and a huge cut of the profit.     Use whatever expression you want, but my point is that Foo Fighter’s music is somewhat bland, paint by numbers rock for the masses. You can disagree and that’s totally fine. I say that because I've seen "Dad rock" thrown around for any of Stern's music pin releases. For example, The Beatles are called "Dad rock" even though they transcend generations and will still be played for hundreds of years after all current Dads are long gone.

    From a co-worker at Stern: "Dean was the lead on Beatles, Supreme, Star Wars Home Edition, Spiderman Home Edition. Dean helped on many other titles through the year, as was working on James Bond until his recent illness.     If Spooky can afford a IP like Scooby Doo. I don't see why Stern can not shell out the money for a big name. If a top tier IP costs $1,000,000 and lets say Stern sells 5,000 games that's about $200 for the IP per machine. That is a very realistic and doable number. If they can afford Star Wars and the Beatles. Then why are they are putting out IPs like Godzilla and Rush.

    It seems like Stern is willing to hitch a ride on other licenses to save monies. Kapow with all the slot licenses comes to mind(Beatles,BM66,007). Ford actually paying Stern. Lego BTTF would be another way to do the game with a cheaper piggy back license. Please Stern-no Lego BTTF combo(Batman lego is better anyway) Also I prefer Hot and Sour soup over Egg Drop
