One thing about Stern is that they never do what I THINK they SHOULD be doing. Tron VE? Nope. Stop trying with the home editions? Nope. Making the greatest game ever with your Beatles license? Hardly. Goes to show what I know! And this is just to name a few things over the years. So, based on the fact that I think re-releasing Stranger Things Premium would be a killer move, forget about it.

I am gonna revive this thread... and change it a bit. The only modern Stern that my daughter, and her friends, have shown in any interest in playing is Stranger Things Premium/LE. The rules and layout are easy enough for them to follow, they like the spooky theme, and the UV Lights + Projector draw them in. They will also, occassionally, play a game of AFM or MM... but that is about it (interesting that they are all the Eddy standard layout).

I have a couple of pins coming and may need to make room if I make the allocation cut. If so, I’ll probably have to list a pin or two First is JP pro which has amber shooter rod (not stern), Tilt graphic decals, stern side rails, art blades, shaker motor, insider connect and I’m sure other mods but will be at 7200. Hey Project Pinball! How about finding a Stranger Things Premium (with UV kit) for your next raffle? I can promise you some major interest! Probably would help you move the other raffles as well (one for any Stern Premium, another one for a Pro) if you offer combo tickets, etc. Just a thought! Sometimes, any campaign will need a little boost! Also, @LesManley will do his Pinside Secret Santa again this year. Question from a newbie. How long do games typically stay in production? Is it too late to get a new Batman 66 or Ghostbusters? Typically it’s different each game. Stranger things premium likely only 2 years run. BM66 was around 5 full years. You’ll also have an example like Iron Man first released in 2010 was being run in 2020 iirc This gives us some hope of Tron or GB re-runs but not likely since Stern can’t seem to build the current games like Rush and Godzilla.

If anyone is interested I have an almost full set of accessories for Stranger Things, All unopened NIB, SternTopper, Stern Side Armor, Stern Game Blades, Stern Shooter Rod, the only thing I didn't get was the UV lit. I was going to buy a Premium until they said they aren't making them any more and used ones are going for the price an LE was :) Just looking to sell them for what they cost. PM if interested can bring them along to TPF and can send pics if you want.

Shouldn't there be another run or two on this one? I tried to get a Stranger Things last November. Every distributor I talked to said Stern was not making any more, Pro or Premium. I don't think Stern has officially said that though.

I played a Stranger Things premium today. It seemed every time I would backhand a left ramp shot, it would be rejected and come back down the ramp. Is this normal or is this part of the issue with the premium/LE TK lock? It would happen occasionally from the right flipper as well. Did Stern provide a part or something to help with the TK lock issue?
