I bought my first pin almost a year ago. I had a very similar background as you. I wanted a pin under $2,000. I did a little research & ended up buying Starship Troopers. It's a great fast paced game, that is right around $2000! Look it up in the search box & read the reviews! I highly recommend it. There is One Major Problem with buying your first Pin...... It won't be your Last! Adjust your funds accordingly! LoL

I need to take mine back out of IJ it makes that particular hole almost impossible to stick. Great product I am not sure why they would not put them on a machine. I just put a set on my Starship Troopers. The one on the 'Live Assault Range' sink hole makes the hole smaller enough that the ball will only go down it on the softest of shots to the hole. I'll need to elongate some holes. Lots of tear-down to get to it, though....

During a tournament where a slightly finnicky Starship Troopers was involved, I did a bit of pre-game coaching. I told the other 2 competitors that if multiball starts, manually plunge those balls. The ST in question sometimes gave weak kick-outs from the plunger lane, and due to the design of the lane, it drains out. 5 minutes later the other competitors were manually plungin' and kept on trucking.

Right on. If anyone wants an update on my life, WPT is headed to Jonogo's today and Avatar is headed out early next week. I hope to use the funds toward a LOTR or Iron Man (preference to LOTR). So, if any of you guys get any leads ... I'm going to be down to ONE pin, Starship Troopers, for a while. So, I might get a little stir crazy!! Also, I'm signed up and room paid for the Midwest Gaming Classic. Anyone else?

If anyone has one for sale in really nice condition, please contact me. While I'm at it, if anyone has a really nice Starship Troopers, you can contact me about that too.

If you look around and do your own legwork, there are games you can find in the 1k range. But you wont' find it on this site. Put out ads, and you might land. Judge dread Demolition man Jurassic park Baywatch Dracula JM Time machine (DE) Phantom of the opera starship troopers (can be found but usually closer to $1500) all of these are great titles, but your going to have to do some searching and legwork. Nobody will hand you one of these for that price.

Top 200... Where Did AC/DC Pro and L.E. go? Post #9 in topic

Posted over 11 years ago by Medieval_Gofers – in Website ‐ Last reply over 11 years ago

The site is currently showing an outdated top 100 for an unknown reason which is why TFLE, ACDC pro, ACDC LE, Xmen, Xmen LE, TRON LE, tomcat, mystery castle, starship troopers etc are all missing. And it's also why every table has moved up or down 30 odd places in some cases. This should hopefully be fixed once robin is aware.

it's not Sega's best. That title goes to Batman forever, followed by a close Starship troopers. SP sucks. That game went for too much if it was water damaged. You know how hard it will be to find a cabinet for that, then a playfield. The game isn't that valuable, your going to be putting way more in parts to get that thing up to par than you would be just to buy the thing for 2k off someone.
