  Where would someone start with a random reset issue? I'm talking in the middle of a game it starts a new one. I'm not sure how this pin is supposed to play as i need to watch some videos to see how multiball and other modes act because i feel like it's a bit off but i do like the pin so I'm looking to get er in good working order.   So did Mirco actually bring those new playfields to TPF? No one took any pics and I don't see them on his website. There are pictures of the stargate playfield in the Stargate Owners thread. Mirco also chimed in that plastics and Radcals are in the works for Stargate. Mentioned getting the new playfields on the site this week.

  I've always used the roll pins for alignment, they put them there for a reason. But I've only owned B/W machines, so not sure what other mfg's specify. Newer games just have a painted dot, or nothing at all... My Stargate has nothing.

  A+ on making the lights unplug from the harness instead of just leaving them in the playfield or dangling over the cabinet. I have the other brand on my Stargate, though they look great, for the price, I'm fairly non-plussed. You set out to solve the quality of life problems which resonates to this user!

  Yeah the instructions for Stargate aren't great. The red stripe 14pin cable can't be attached the way the instructions say, confirmed via email as well. Dude responded quickly though, which is nice. That said, having trouble with the rom. Ran out of time to try other USB sticks and rule that out.   Wrath of Olympus never took off, unfortunately. I had a chance to play that at allentown in 2014 when it was under development. That showed some promise, but even then, unlicensed themes got a lukewarm reception at best. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to snap any photos of the top of the playfield--I was too busy taking photos of LOTR, DESW, STTNG, WOZ, Stargate, and all the other licensed theme games, lol :|

  Stargate Playfield news finally... On his FB page, Mirco announced that he will be at Texas Pinball Fest (March 2024) and will have 4 new playfields including Stargate. Hope someone who is attending can give his Stargate a close inspection and report back here on quality of the repro. As is the case with most Mirco repros, this is a really tough choice as he is the only source and the reported quality of his recent work has not been good. Add to that all the customer service issues...

  My two main guitars, Vala (LTD) and Adria (PRS) .....Any Stargate fans here? ha. Evertune bridges are AMAZING. It'll be hard for me to ever buy another guitar without it.   Bringing it back alive. Want to increase strenghth of my left vuk in a Gottlieb stargate. According to manual it’s 16570. Supposed to be 15.5 ohms 27 gauge and 1450 windings, size is regular.   Hey all ,I’ve got a situation with my Stargate that I’m wondering if it’s plaguing others . When I try to catch the ball on my right flipper, nine out of ten times the ball shoots back up the in lane then down the out lane .   I would also watch some tournament streams to filter out games with shot combo or mode exploits, those would get boring very quickly in a small collection. Specifically something like Police Force with all the points at the center ramp or Shadow with unlimited loop combo value building. Addams Family also comes to mind with center ramp scoop combo for tour the mansion wizard mode or Stargate with Battle mode. Pinballvideos.com is a good place to check out machines for possible exploits.

  Don't worry about a few delays on the thread. Your doing another HEP special game. You don't Spirit everyday so its more work and takes longer. Been watching some of the videos need to get the rest. Thanks. That’s a title that I have a bit of a history with. Each time I have done it I have become more and more familiar with it . It is a really tough platform to “HEP” and this time I started off worse than ever but found solutions. I have a Rocky and a Stargate coming up also.

  Only hit a few wizard modes: Stargate Game of Thrones Shadow - got to the final battle a couple times but best I could do was 4 shots left Popeye - completed the wizard mode twice in 1 game Taxi - if we’re counting the jackpot shot Addams family - toured the mansion once STTNG - made it to 5 year mission once Someday I hope to get to the wizard mode in my stern star trek

  I have a Stargate pin. Great cabinet, players condition playfield with bad wear around typical spots on gotleibs, everything works, including the alien and the pyramid. There is a rubber in the back of the pyramid that is broken that allows the ball to get stuck in a place it shouldn’t so it needs maintenance. Two years ago replaced rubbers we could get to and flippers and switches that weren't working. Stargate $2500 located in sonoma county, PM me if interested

  Right away the cabinet on the Heighway version turned me off as I never realized how OCD I was until I sold off my Pin2ks (SWE1 and RFM), rearranged my lineup and every time I walked into the room my Stargate stood out next to the rest of my Stern/Bally/Williams games. Sold SG and miss it.

  I recently cleaned the backside of the sound board and its even less intermittent and what I mean by "intermittent" I mean: 1) sometime no sound at all (very rare) 2) sometimes all the sound, but no voice (only Attack Attack) when getting the Stargate 3) most of the time all sound and all voice I performed the test as per the manual. All that seems to be fine ( I get all the Thank yous) The only thing is the background sound does not fade out when game over it just keeps going "wu wu wu wu wu"

  I believe that is just a piece of transluscent plastic. I removed several on system 3s. With stargate, the red is printed on the panel. R911 is one game that used a red film instead.

  Hello! I'm fairly new to dmd's. I had a gi bulb out on my stargate, behind the backglass. I bent the socket out to access the bulb. Without checking the bulb, I replaced it and bent the socket back. The f8 fuse blew. I touched up the solder on the socket and it worked for a while then blew again. Do I need to replace my socket(s)? Thank you
