Posted 95 days ago by Jediturtle – in Buying and selling advice ‐ Last reply 94 days ago

Those are my favorite kind of games to buy! My Deadpool had something like 25 plays, and my Star Wars had 12. Not exaggerating. A few others had ~100 or less on them too. That is the risk people take buying machines without playing first. Sometimes they just do not click. For the buyer it's a nice way to save some cash letting someone else recycle the cardboard!

I've found that playing for modes (and actually playing the lucrative ones and not timing everything out) leads to generally higher scoring games than the super pops/multiball all day strat. A clean backhand to the add bandmember/guitar feature shot is SOOOO satisfying. I only got RIOT once before after I learned that backhand was even possible. About two dozen games in, flipper post came loose, and left flipper coil stop is junked. Also had the coil stop on a Star Wars pro after less than a 100 plays- took the one out a ST pro and it was a better coil stop. There’s really no excuse for a coil stop to go bad after a few plays, and this is a known issue. The people supplying these coil stops need to be fired for real.

I really think the theme holds it back, sorry Trekkies : ) It has some of the tightest shots, best rules and most stuff, packed in, compared to any other game ever made. My Williams Indiana jones sits next to it and I actual prefer the gameplay on Star Trek over Indy. It's just the theme, music, etc is so much more familiar on Indy. If this would have been Star Wars (sorry but true) it would probably be the most desired pin ever made.

could of been a classic if Stern had a programmer that was dedicated to fine tuning the code....instead he's lazy and could give two shits False. He was working on Star Wars, then Munsters, then GOT, now back to GB for a massive update. Every interview he has ever given shows how passionate he is. I am not sure people realize how long it takes to code games in general...

*SPOILERS* Star Wars: TLJ is really bad and other Star Wars/Disney/Marvel talk * Post #3519 in topic

I’ll be completely shocked if episode 9 doesn’t end up as top 10 all time box office $1.5B++ I’m not so sure. I think it has an uphill battle to get over $1.5 billion. China has zero interest in Star Wars and its not like TLJ left any cliff hangers or buzz. If it did then Solo would have done better. I know I will not paying for a ticket to Episode IX.

I have a Star Wars pro and looking for advice on where to go from here. My game stopped playing in the middle of a game and an error message of node board 8 not recognized. Also lighting on the bottom half of the playfield now does not work. Lifted the playfield and went through and checked for loose connections. The only node board not recognized is 8 the others when the diagnosis was run. First issue I have had with either of my Stern games, suggestions?
