Stern STAR WARS club...May The Force Be With You Post #8106 in topic

I see the “comic” versions of Star Wars are now their own unique game in the Pinside database of pins. It would be great if “comic” owners could modify their collection of games to reflect the appropriate “comic” version. That way we can all see how rare (or not) these alternate art packages are. I have been told there were only 200 premiums made in the first wave with no plans to make a second run at this time.

I know Star Wars comic version looks better, but gameplay is the same? Yes, same gameplay. The main issues I have with the code: 1. The multiplier timeout which requires you to stop what you’re doing and hurryup to feed it. Constantly. 2. Overuse of the video mode which itself a tedious game. Star Wars was my first pin and I have a soft spot for it, but we really don’t play it these days.

I don't really get this one but looks to be a hit with the fans. Hope this is a huge hit with Spooky and we start seeing more pins with more modern themes. Stern themes in past few years: Elvira, Jurassic Park, Iron Maiden, Beatles, Munsters, Star Wars trilogy, Black Knight, Aerosmith, Batman, Ghostbusters. I love some of those games but old themes get, well... old.

My Stern Star Wars topper money has now been deserted to this Awesome game. Already sent KingPinGames 5 texts. Lol. Congrats Team Spooky this is a home run.

I believe the ship is controlled right to left with the flipper buttons and you can increase your acceleration by using the center button. Pretty cool addition that I see talked about little.

I had a similar issue with the seller. Committed to buying a Star Wars upright arcade game. When time came to pick up, already sold from under me. Best thing to do is send a deposit with the seller so they don't back out. I wouldn't have posted negative feedback though. I think it's best to deal with a deposit to lock it in.
